Friends of mine have recently started this punk project called „Systemproblem“; the lyrics are in German. The title track „Morsches Holz“ (translated „Rotten Wood“) is essentially a hymn against fascism, nepotism etc. Check it out if you enjoy a good protest song (and know a few words in German 😉). I am happy to announce that my first solo EP named ROUND 2 has been released today and is available on all major streaming platforms! 🎉💿
To create this EP has been quite a journey and it is a reflection of very exciting (and sometimes scary) times.
It features 6 songs that I have composed and which were meant to be catchy Pop with a dark twist when I started working on them but which turned out a little bit more than that…sometimes a bit funky, sometimes a hint of rock… The beginning of the Song NIGHT features a tasty little keyboard tune by Tobias Graef #smurfreviews (founder and keyboarder of my former band MIHRAX #mihraxofficial ) which even gives it a brief moment of progressive rock.
I hope y‘all enjoy this. There will be more to come in the future.

Review of our album ROX in the Musikzirkus-Magazin from Germany 🇩🇪! Link in bio!

🇬🇧
On their second album, the Berlin band Mihrax has turned up the heat a bit, blending art/neo-prog with hard rock. It sounds a bit different than before, but also has its own appeal. Tobias Graef and Boris Elfert have composed tracks that are more rough and edgy than those on their debut. For me, Mihrax are a discovery in the art/neo-prog genre. Their name is worth remembering.

Great review of MOAL by Progressive Rock Central from USA 🇺🇸. Link in bio.

🇬🇧
Mihrax’s “Medley of a Life,’ is a keyboard fans’ kind of album. Tobias Graef’s innovative keyboards are a major highlight during all of the songs on this album. The lead electric guitar performances from Thorsten Schlüter, are also a highlight throughout the album. Thomas Graef, on bass and backing vocals and Andreas Wittwer, on drums, do excellent work supporting the sound and keeping the beat on track. Yes, everything about this album is worth your time and listening pleasure. The “Melody of Life,” that Mihrax creates for you, is very professional sounding and well recorded. I suggest that you take the time to give this new album a listen.

Mihrax’ „Medley of a Life“ ist ein Album für Keyboard-Fans.

Review of ROX by www.profilprog.com from France 🇫🇷. Rating 8/10 🤩. Link in bio.

🇬🇧
Colorful, dynamic, and catchy, the songs are very accessible, which doesn’t mean simple. The very different lengths suggest that each idea has been developed but never diluted. The collective unfolds its new, shifting, and undulating melodies and plots as a whole. The whole thing is very enjoyable to listen to. This is a straightforward album, but with everything needed to live up to the label „Deutsche Qualität.“ A description that’s too comprehensive doesn’t tempt me. I find this album sufficiently accomplished, with strategically placed instrumental interventions, changes in melodic plot that reorient the tracks, changing tempi—in short, everything that appeals to the „progeur“ at heart.
🇩🇪

🇬🇧
Mihrax made with ROX an album that will please listeners who like many different musical styles. Most of all if you do like bands such as Bon Jovi and Saga this release is for you to purchase. In the meantime the band has been working on some new music. And therefore I am curious how the band has developed on their soon to be released EP Medley Of A Life.
