INTRODUCING CINERGY ARTISTS All three of these people are pillars of the NY music and events community. They are some of my favorite people molding the scene, sharing great music, and uplifting other artists doing the same. We invite them all tomorrow to get inspired by the film Miracle Mile by Steve De Jarnatt and the score by Tangerine Dream. Greesh and Boatneck will be playing B2B from 9pm-11pm which will be paired with liquid dreamlike visuals by HZRD. GREESH you may recognize from the beautiful space and community that is L&SD. He is a classically trained pianist turned ambient DJ that draws inspiration from the sounds found throughout the New York DIY scene. Expect him to combine synths, vinyl, and film samples to capture the sounds and feeling of this 80s apocalypse. BOATNECK is the project of Michael Reed, a DJ and party nerd whose education has taken place mostly in the apartments, basements, borrowed crash pads, and other spaces where a record could change the climate of an entire night. From his East Village Radio residency, to helping out at historic DIY spaces around the city, to playing alongside the people and parties that have shaped his musical education, his selections move freely through all corners of dance music. A traveling circus, more or less… and in the best possible way. HZRD you may recognize at a certain roller playground doing a myriad of things. He is a 3D artist, designer, engineer, and builder. Whether he’s making visuals for large concerts, artist promotion, building custom pieces for parties or neon church lighters cases - you’ll know it’s his work right away. His world has a modern gothic feel where solids become liquid and it all feels somewhere between a dream and a nightmare. by @borogreg
