When two Americans meet and fall in love in Germany, of course the obvious place for their dream wedding is the stunning Borthwick Castle in Scotland!

What an incredible day celebrating Amy & Kyle’s wedding. From the moment we arrived until the very last dance, we had the absolute best time with this wonderful couple and their amazing family and friends.

And can we just talk about the Highland cows?! We were honestly just as excited as everyone else when the guests headed outside for what they thought was a group photo… only to be greeted by the gorgeous Rab & Heather from the lovely team at Crazy Critters! Such a brilliant surprise.

A huge congratulations again to Mr. & Mrs. Bertelsen. We’re so happy you love your photos, and we’re delighted to be sharing a few favourites from your incredible day.

Andi & Austin are definitely doing something right! I’ve been shooting at @borthwickcastle for as long as I can remember - and I’ve never enjoyed weather there like this weekend!

Gabbi & Maxwell Highlights

You really can’t go wrong with an all-out wedding theme, and Gabbi and Maxwell embraced theirs completely. Travelling all the way from L.A.(and bringing the sunshine with them!), they celebrated their love in beautifully witchy style at the historic Borthwick Castle. Beneath all the fun and magic, though, their day was incredibly heartfelt. Full of emotion, deep connection, and so much love for the people around them <3

Grant and Brittany flew over from Canada to have an intimate wedding with their loved ones at Borthwick Castle, which sits so beautifully in the countryside of Scotland, just outside of Edinburgh. Their family and friends all stayed the night at the castle over the weekend and it was such a deeply meaningful and unforgettable weekend for everyone involved.

And of course, the warm and romantic floral design for the ceremony and reception by The Petal Shoppe was truly the perfect balance amongst the dark architecture of this medieval castle.
