5️⃣ 𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗦 𝗢𝗙 @BORUSSIAZONE‼️🎂

On this day five years ago, "BorussiaZone" was officially created. What started as a timekiller in the follow up to the summer holidays, developed into an active passion and hobby which provides me with the opportunity to interact with other BVB fans from across the globe! 🌍

I'd like to spare a moment and thank everybody for the support and engagement with the content over the years, Heja BVB! 🖤💛

𝗙𝗨𝗟𝗟-𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘! ⚽

Niko Kovač's stubbornness to play with a 3-4-2-1 and inverted wingbacks results in a predictable loss in Bodø. In fact, it wasn't just a loss, our Croatian Pep was given a tactical lesson!

It's alright though, we only have to go through this for another 2.5 years, unless Ricken extends his contract yet again...

Borussia Dortmund somehow prevail against Villarreal following a very scrappy performance.

Niko Kovač gets saved by individual quality yet again...

📋 𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙉𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙨:

▪️It goes without saying that despite the result, I expect much more from this team. The first 60 minutes of the game were horrendous; only after Guirassy's goal did we start creating ourselves some opportunities. Speaking of Serhou, I'm glad to see that he's returning to form, we need a top striker like him! 🪄

▪️Waldemar Anton, who I can admit I've critcised in the past, is becoming a true leader in defence and deserves his flowers for yesterday's performance! Filippo Mané too played decent, but unfortunately suffered yet another injury. If he wasn't so prone, I could see him developing into a quality centre-back! 🤕

▪️I've said this before and I'll say it again: Maximilian Beier has to leave Borussia Dortmund in the summer at the latest. He is nowhere near BVB-level. Wherever you put him, whether it's beside Guirassy or at wingback, he offers nothing... 🥴

▪️I'd like to end this post on a positive, so I think it's a good opportunity to praise Fábio Silva. He bounced back from that poor performance against HEBC with an important and impressive equaliser yesterday! Also, he debunked Kovač's theory of not being able to play alongside Serhou. 🏹

𝗙𝗨𝗟𝗟-𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘! ⚽

Borussia Dortmund complete the comeback in Sinsheim following a very volatile performance. Up until Serhou Guirassy's opener, we were absolutely abysmal, but the Guinean's goal sparked life into this BVB side!

Although officially counted as an own goal, congratulations to @ethannwaneri for creating the third goal! 👏🏼

Niko Kovač, consider yourself lucky; you've been saved by individual quality yet again.
