At the End of a Long Road. As the final stage of the Tour de France draws to a close, so too does another remarkable journey of endurance, discipline and time.

Our orchards felt full this weekend.

Full of laughter, little feet between the trees, bags filled with citrus, and good company.

New faces and flavours every Sunday, with three weeks to Women’s Day.

In the gardens, Tina leads by example, she recently moved from the Werf Food Garden to Landscape Supervisor, and along the way made it her mission to show other women something simple: we’re capable of anything. Strength doesn’t have a gender, and Tina proves it in the beds and borders every day.

Her Friday ritual? A chocolate croissant, baked fresh on the farm, the one treat she never skips.

This Thursday in the Werf Food Garden, we're shining a light on our Pollinator Garden.

Always busy, even when it feels still, this small corner of the farm welcomes bees, butterflies, birds and beetles whose work helps each season's harvest thrive. By planting flowers in generous clusters, we create a place where they can flourish, and in turn, help the rest of the garden do the same.

Our woman of the week is Shannon, our Assistant Livestock Manager. She started out as an intern, and her journey to manager has been shaped by mentorship, curiosity and a lot of early mornings on the farm. Her favourite part about being a woman is “everything”. There’s a reason nature is often referred to as feminine, women are resilient and beautiful in every season.

Her Farm Shop favourite is just as comforting: pastéis de nata, baked fresh on the farm every morning.
