POSTS STORIES REELS

God can truly be trusted.

ELEVATE 1.0 started as a small idea in my heart last November (I didn’t even have a name for it then lol). I just wanted to gather a few women on my birthday to talk about life, transitions, money, purpose, and the different phases we all go through.

But the Holy Spirit kept stretching the vision. What was supposed to be a simple hangout became Boss Lady Global’s maiden event, and a call to create safe spaces for women to grow, heal, and rise.

I battled fear, imposter syndrome, and the question, “What do I really have to say?”
There were also financial concerns and so many uncertainties. But God reminded me that I could start small, from my space, with the women I could reach now.

We had over 120 applications, and we carefully selected a diverse group of women across ages, careers, and life stages. And what happened yesterday was beyond anything I imagined.

Women opened up:
Some cried.
Some laughed.
Some found clarity.
Many realized they were not alone.

From the mental wellness session that created a safe space for honesty, to the financial conversation that simplified money, to the self-care session that reminded us to take our skins seriously, every part of the day met someone at their exact point of need! (What a joy for me!😍)

What started as a small idea became a real, life-touching experience.
And I’m reminded that sometimes, God uses our stories as ladders for other women to climb, and that whatever He commands, He sponsors!

This is just a glimpse of what happened at ELEVATE 1.0.
And truly, my heart is full. 😍😍😍

One of the most beautiful moments from Michelle Obama’s speech at the opening of the Obama Presidential Centre yesterday, was the way she spoke about her husband.

As Father’s Day approaches, this is a gentle reminder to give flowers while people can still smell them. Acknowledge the fathers, husbands, brothers, mentors, and men who show up, sacrifice, lead with integrity, and love well.
People flourish where they are valued.

And Michelle’s words reminded us of that beautifully.
Thank you, Queen!

Women we love to celebrate, one whose resilience rewrites the rules.

Aghogho Okpara @itsaghogho didn’t have a straight path. Rejections came first, then persistence, then purpose.

She built while she was still becoming.
She turned her experience into something that reaches beyond her.
She kept showing up, speaking up, expanding what was possible and pulling people up behind her.

From medicine to global impact, her journey reminds you of one thing…
growth is not a moment. It’s a pattern.

And if you pay attention, there’s something in her story you can take with you. Swipe through

I know the choice is yours to make.

But “Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.”

MYTH (1) You have to be an expert in the field and have a lot of technical knowledge.

The more I’m learning about Project Management, the more I’m realizing how many assumptions I had about the profession.
Having a technical knowledge is good, however don’t wait unto you have one before you begin.

If you have experienced that, you’re not alone!☺️☺️
But now you and I know better!

Boundaries… what happens when you’re the one being set one??
-
Possible reasons someone serves you a boundary:
1. You have overestimated your role in their lives
2. You’ve taken them for granted (aka see finish)
3. They may just be going through a phase

If you want closure, you can ask them why, especially if the relationship means a lot to you.
Remember that as much as you want people to respect your boundaries, be ready to respect theirs too when they give you.

Do you agree??
