I attended the Church Media & Tech Leaders Conference, and I left stretched, challenged, and deeply encouraged.One thing stood out strongly: the Church is not asleep. The Church is rising—and intentionally stepping into AI and technological advancement.And honestly, that makes me excited for what’s ahead.Here are some powerful takeaways that will stay with me:• Success in the Kingdom is measured by transformation and discipleship, not money.• If the Church doesn’t shape the narrative, the narrative will be shaped without the Church.We’re in a time where:• Data is one of the most valuable resources in AI• You can’t build effective AI without mathematics• And yes—God was the first “prompt engineer”Light was a major theme:“You are the light of the world” (Matthew 5:14)If there is light, people won’t search for long.So the question is—are we showing up where people are?Because where people are is where God wants to go.That means:→ If people are online, the Church must be online→ If attention is digital, ministry must be strategic→ If storytelling shapes culture, then the Church must tell better storiesFrom the session on storytelling:Jesus was a storyteller.And the Church must learn to tell:• Jesus’ story• The Church’s story• People’s storiesBecause stories connect deeper than information ever will.Another hard truth:The method of church planting has changed.Plant online first.Then build what people already know.We’re no longer just presenting—we’re producing.The camera is now our stage.Practical directions for church media teams:• Commit deeply to the Word and prayer (there is no media without intercession)• Invest heavily in training and exposure• Build systems, platforms, and even global projects• Turn every department into content creators• Develop income streams within media• Embrace AI deeply and intentionallyAnd this hit hard:“A mind that has been exposed can never return to its original dimension.”What stood out the most for you? by @bosstoria
