IMAGINE THE FUTURE: AND MAKE IT ENTERTAINING
Pitch Your (Future) Hit Anti-Dystopia Series!
What if one of the most powerful climate actions wasn’t a policy paper — but a hit series?
As part of Boston Climate Week, the Net Zero Institute (NZI) is sponsoring a $1,000 grant and the Boston International Film Festival is donating festival passes valued at $500. Additional supporters include the Venture Café Cambridge, CEREs, and Kearney.
We welcome submissions of original videos OR TV show pitches, scripts or short stories adaptable to a series that imagines a future worth living in — and watching.
Imagine a better world. Then make us binge it.

🌟Red carpet moments from the Boston International Film Festival 🎬

Thank you to the incredible photographers who made us feel like celebrities all festival long—and captured it all so beautifully.

And thank you to the festival for including “Steeped in Denial” in this year’s lineup. Honored to be part of it. ✨

E aí chegou o grande dia… me arrumei, coloquei o look e fui direto pro tapete vermelho.

Mas é só o começo ✨ taken in Boston, Massachusetts by @bostoninterff

We are deeply honored to share that MILAREPA has been awarded Indie Spirit Best Picture and Best Director at the Boston International Film Festival.

A recognition that celebrates not only cinema, but a story that speaks of transformation, compassion, and a path beyond war and revenge.

Congratulations to director @louis_nero and to everyone who made this possible.

Grateful, moved, and proud to be part of this journey. 🎬🪷✨

Holding this trophy with nothing but gratitude. Every long night, every challenge, every moment of doubt—it all led here. Photo by @hellydayana
