IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT The last day at shop will be Sunday, November 22, just before Thanksgiving. After careful consideration, I’ve made the decision to close the physical Botanically Curious educational apothecary and third space in downtown Portland. I have owned Botanically Curious & served communities through this work for almost 10 years. Opening the apothecary was a beautiful experiment, one I am incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to create. But life is pulling me in a few different directions, and I want to be more present for my family as I move through some big transitions. Our regular hours will remain the same: Wednesday–Saturday: 12–6 PM Sunday: 11 AM–4 PM All non-Botanically Curious merchandise will be 40% off. This includes teacups, tea kettles, herbal books, candles, body scrubs and other retail goods. Anything without the Botanically Curious logo that was created by another company will be on sale. What Does This Mean for Customers and Clients? If you’re already an established customer or client who has worked with me in the past, you most likely have my personal contact information. Please feel free to continue reaching out through those same channels for your products and protocols. Why Am I Closing the Shop? The vision of a physical apothecary was to create a space where Herbalist, plant enthusiasts and the everyday person could come together in person and study, share their insights and enjoy herbs through drinks and products but the cafe & third space side to my shop never really took off. One Last Season Together We have just a few weeks left together inside this little physical third space I’ve created, and I hope you’ll come say hello before I close the doors. As a small business owner, I never take lightly the fact that when you walk through my door and purchase something, you’re choosing to spend your hard-earned money supporting a local business and the person behind it. Thank you for supporting this experiment. Thank you for filling this space with curiosity, conversation and community.
