Another lovely client I had today at my school’s spa !!
She had true oily skin ❤️🤏🏽😍.

True Oily Skin = age slower because the oil in the sebum preserves the face! Some people confuse true oily with a stripped barrier. A stripped barrier is where your skin over produces oil as an attempt to preserve to skin after being stripped. It’s also combined with sensitized skin as well and certain ingredients such as botanicals or strong vitamins can cause irritation, slight burning sensation and overall a “spicy” sensation on the skin! Some Skin Nerd knowledge we’ve learned in class !
