Thank you @southeasthairstylingawards for naming me Colorist of the Year!!! I am still in shock and grateful beyond belief!!!

Sitting in a room filled with legends and people I’ve admired for years is always enough of a prize. At least I thought so until I held that baby in my hands. 😂😂😂 It was glorious!!!

I got to dedicate my award to my mom and since I never got to say goodbye or thank her for encouraging my creativity my whole life, I felt like I got my chance ❤️

A pretty big name in the industry told me a year ago that I would never win this award because I don’t have a professional photographer nor do I photoshop. I’m here to say that if you have an iPhone and a mission to win… you can do anything. ❤️

I am entering this into the #shadowpresleypoe24 put on by @hairdustry and @babylissprobarber because i need to. I have been waiting for a cutting mentor for so long and Presley is perfect to help me elevate my game. I won’t lie, I know her and to know her is to love her. We always seem to find a few minutes to chat at shows but Ive always wanted to spend some serious education time with her. Presley is probably the most creative person I know when it comes to self expression AND skills. It’s not easy and she nails it every time. So, I am growing and learning at 47 just like anyone straight out of school. Thanks to my friends @hairdustry and @presleypoe for allowing everyone to take a chance and learn things that could be career changing. 👏🏻🙌🏻❤️

It’s been a minute since @nikkistychno has been in. She works on the beach and her hair was fried, dyed and laid to the side.
I used all @dangerjonesbalayage products for this MAJOR refresh. Lightener, epilogue, artistic toners and the gloss. lol. Did I miss anything??

Oh yeah, I’m testing a cool af new product that I’m not allowed to tell you about cause they will kill me. I used it on this client and 🤯. No, it is not a danger jones product lol.

I did a thing! Now I get to be in the Danger Jones Society as an expert in all things Danger Jones. The best was really learning about epilogue (their permanent color line) as @alexisthurston walks you through all of the fun quirks of the color line.

SWIPE ALERT 🚨
Noelle said, “I want My Little Pony hair”… so obviously I had to make that dream a reality. 😂

And honestly… I think Rainbow Dash would approve.

Check it from the front… check it from the back… this is giving full-on pastel pony princess magic with a little neon chaos mixed in.

We have a little Rainbow Dash, a little candy-colored pony fantasy, and a whole lot of “I can’t believe this is actually hair.”

I used Danger Jones Bold to create this mix of pastel and neon colors, and I cannot wait to show you the tutorial because this one was too much fun.

My chair really does get the coolest requests. 🦄
