Berlin marathon 2026 💔 some photos from my day of suffering 🤦‍♂️ by @botzy2hotzy

Berlin marathon did not go to plan and it has been a very hard pill for me to swallow . All the preparation , all the hard training sessions , all the time invested and all of it blew up in my face when it really mattered . It has taught me a very important lesson that the marathon owes you nothing and sometimes it’s just not your day and this happens to everyone no matter their skill level . What defines you is if you pick yourself back up and train even harder to smash your goal next time and for me it’s back to training and only upwards from here on ! This experience had an upside Vivi ran her first marathon and absolutely smashed it and I couldn’t be more happier for her and it was the positive element that this day was lacking . Despite the outcome it was an amazing day with suffering and success . On to the next one let’s give it hell 🔥 by @botzy2hotzy

Rome Marathon 2026// 2:53:29 ⏱️

This was one of my biggest challenges I have ever been through and I learnt a lot about myself while in the process . The main thing learnt was that we are only limited by the limitations we set for ourselves and without challenging ourselves we can only ever live within those boundaries. If you want something bad enough and want to succeed then put in the work and you will achieve it .
