My name is Edith, and I'm in my 40s, working at a yarn and quilting shop in Benoni. Creativity has always been at the heart of who I am, from drawing and watercolour painting as a teenager to exploring a wide range of crafts over the years, including scrapbooking, pottery, sewing, mixed media, mosaics, bag making, crochet, cross-stitch, sashiko, interior decorating, and journaling.

Crochet and pattern testing are among my favourite creative pursuits, and you'll often find me wearing something I've made myself. My love of crafting has also led to a healthy fabric collection and plenty of handmade project bags for my ever-growing stash of creative supplies.

I've always loved stationery, and journaling became the perfect outlet for that passion. I enjoy combining stickers, washi tape, fabric, packaging, paint, magazine pages, and found treasures to create unique journal spreads. Journaling is more than a hobby for me; it's a creative, mindful practice that helps me find calm and joy in everyday life.

Friends and family know that stationery is my love language, and my husband has learned to rescue interesting tags and receipts for my journals before throwing them away!

I believe I'd make a great Bubblegum Fringe ambassador because crafting and creativity aren't just hobbies, they're woven into every part of my life.

My Instagram reflects a colourful mix of journal spreads, handmade projects, and creative inspiration. I would love the opportunity to share that passion with the Bubblegum Fringe community and encourage others to embrace their own creative journeys.

I got soooooooo many Journaling gifts for my Bday!
The amount of sweeties/chocolates I also received was just as huge!!!

I was heartbroken not getting the usual first birthday call from my Mom this year, but I was showered with a million hugs and love and thoughtfull gifts, that it made me actually enjoy most of the day.

Losing someone you love is never easy, losing a parent, a spouse or child is probably the hardest. We celebrated 80years for my Mom in Feb. Wednesday she said goodbye to this world and leave behind a loving family who will always cherish her.
