A real PINCH ME moment 🥹

To be named one of @thewed ‘21 Best Florists in Australia’ this year feels completely surreal!

This business has come so far in such a short time - what started as a dream is now being recognised alongside some of the most incredible florists that I’ve looked up to and admired for years.

It’s one thing to feel the love from couples and supporters - but to be acknowledged and celebrated by industry leaders and peers in the wedding space hits differently ❤️‍🔥

I am quite the perfectionist and my own worst critic - so when the imposter syndrome creeps in, this will serve as a reminder to trust my creative process - and know that what I create and offer can hold its own 😌

Whether it’s the fruit, growing bunches or the banana blossom - bananas are an amazing unexpected sculptural design ingredient.
Bringing geometric flair, vibrant colour and playful personality to tropical-inspired designs, they also happen to make an incredible base for floral work 👏🏽

𝗦𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗽𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗯𝘀 🦠
Restyled from one event to the next… 👀

Because “ceremony to reception” isn’t the only way florals can be repurposed.

While this isn’t our standard approach, multi-day celebrations often open the door to more creative thinking around how we can make a client’s floral and styling investment work even harder.

For Anisha & Alex’s three-day celebration, each of their five events had its own distinct identity, while still feeling visually connected as one cohesive experience. From the outset, we considered how furniture, staging, backdrops, plinths and florals could be layered, adapted and reimagined across multiple events to maximise both impact and value.

These sculptural floral blobs are one example of this:
🦠 We created six in total using carnations, marigolds and different gerbera varieties in vibrant citrus and sunrise tones of yellow, orange, coral and pink.
🦠 Four were originally designed as a playful installation framing the outdoor pizza oven for their Mehndi.
🦠 The following day, we repurposed those same four and added two pink designs, transforming their design purpose into sculptural centrepieces for the communal lunch tables at their Haldi

That means designing adaptable floral moments where appropriate, selecting varieties we know will perform across multiple days, and drawing on years of experience to ensure every bloom lasts exactly as intended 👌🏽

On day 3 Alex + Anisha were wed.
And it was a so much fun hosting their day.

From arrival at the ceremony, to the farewell tunnel at the end of the night;

Not marrying -
Not coordinating -
But as MC - staying fully present with the guests and ensuring them an experience like no other.

A Mexico-inspired seating chart like NO OTHER!🌵🌶️🫑

Cacti, handcrafted tile decor, sculptural stacks and garlands of prickly pear, chillies and capsicums… this wasn’t just somewhere guests found their seat. It became one of the most memorable design moments of Angelica & Simon’s wedding day🔥

When it comes to seating charts, we’re always looking for ways to create something that’s playful, unexpected and thoughtfully functional, rather than simply ticking a box.

Inspired by the couple’s vision and the venue’s Mexican-inspired interiors, we designed a seating chart that integrated seamlessly into the overall aesthetic while cleverly reflecting the reception floor plan.

Every table was assigned its own species of cacti, represented by a bespoke illustrated card, a matching tiled planter holding the real cactus, and a coordinating table number - creating a visual narrative that guided guests from the seating chart through to their table 👏🏽

We collaborated with @studioycreative to bring the stationery details to life, ensuring every illustration and printed element felt like a natural extension of the styling.

Proof that even the most practical wedding details can become an unforgettable design feature when they’re approached with intention, originality and creativity 👏🏽

Mini, double, spider or noodle - we’re obsessed with creating using all types of gerbera 🫶🏼

One of the things we love most about design is its ability to shift perspective.
Sometimes all it takes is seeing something through a different lens to appreciate it in a way you never have before 👀
Used intentionally, styled unexpectedly, and paired with the right colours, textures and forms - even the most overlooked flower can become the hero 💪

TAYLAR & DYLAN | An incredible setting, a nostalgic tropical design brief, dreamlike florals, and such a fun-loving couple 〰️ it’s no wonder this has become one of our all-time favourite weddings to be part of 🥹🤎

A traditional Mehndi celebration 〰️ 𝑟𝑒𝑖𝑚𝑎𝑔𝑖𝑛𝑒𝑑 through a Mid-Century Modern lens with a touch of psychedelic modernism 🍊🕺🌼

Inspired by the venue’s warm timber interiors, stained glass windows and architectural details - we developed this immersive design concept that celebrated Anisha & Alex’s love of bold colour & architectural design whilst honoring the vibrant traditions of a Mehndi celebration.

Bold colour blocking, botanical maximalism, curving organic forms, abstract patterned textiles, tactile textures, sculptural furniture and bespoke signage came together to create a nostalgic yet contemporary world that felt playful and full of personality.

More than just celebration of tradition, this became an immersive conceptual experience reimagined through an unexpected design lens.

All made possible by this epic couple who embraced our unconventional ideas and trusted the creative process from the very beginning ❤️‍🔥
