Cape Breton, Nova Scotia | May 2026
We took a few days to explore the rugged coast line, make some seaweed pressings and do our final preparations for our ferry to Newfoundland. Sunsets are pretty legendary in that part of the world 🦀 A prize waits for you for scrolling to the last picture 😘

There is a certain satisfaction that comes with finally seeing mountains that have eluded you for years. We’ve seen the aptly named Crazy Mountains on our horizon many times, but have never made it into them. The hike to Twin Lakes was not only stunning, but also just a short jaunt from Bozeman.

Bay of Fundy, Nova Scotia, Canada | May 2026
The Bay of Fundy is home to the largest tidal shift in the world. Twice a day the waters rise and fall up 55ft. The massive tidal shift leaves boats sitting directly on the muddy bottom. Couldn’t help but shake our heads in disbelief at the change just a few hours can make!

Proof of life post. This year it feels like we were shot out of a canon and have yet to come back down to earth. From the remote beaches of Baja > Western US Seaboard > Trans Canada HWY > Newfoundland > Eastern US Seaboard > ATL > Namibia and I’m writing this post from Greece. What a wild and wonderful ride it’s been. As my mom always says, you can sleep when you’re dead 🫣

The Road to Newfoundland | Dinosaur Provincial Park + UNESCO World Heritage Site, Alberta
Having had the pleasure of seeing these same types of formations further south in Eastern Montana and the Dakotas, it’s a real treat to find them further north. Badlands are known for harboring fossils, but Dinosaur is home the highest quality collection of late Cretaceous Dino fossils on 🌎 dating back some 75-77 million years ago. Insanely interesting while also being insanely beautiful 🙇‍♀️ by @bound.for.nowhere
