Now we’re bringing the chaos here. ✨

We read it. We rate it. We pour the wine.
You add it to your TBR. 🍷

BOOKISH LANGUAGE 101 📚✨

Because apparently becoming a reader also means learning an entirely new vocabulary. 😂

TBR. DNF. ARC. FMC. MMC. HEA.

And then come the tropes…

If you understood all of that without needing Google… congratulations, you’re officially one of us. 😂📚

SAVE this for your bookish cheat sheet + SEND it to the friend who’s just entered their reader era.

👇 Now tell us: what trope will make you add a book to your TBR IMMEDIATELY?

⭐️ 3 STARS DOESN’T MEAN WE HATED IT. BUT 5 STARS? THAT BOOK OWNS US NOW. 💀📚

Our rating system is based on a highly sophisticated combination of:

✨ Plot
✨ Characters
✨ Obsession levels
✨ Emotional damage
✨ Whether the MMC has ruined real men for us
✨ And, most importantly… THE VIBES.

And then there’s…

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ + THE VIBES

The book has altered our brain chemistry.
We’ve made it our entire personality.
The fictional man now lives rent-free in our heads.
And yes, we WILL be recommending it to everyone. 🫡

Now cause some chaos in the comments 👇🏼

What’s a book you gave 5⭐️ that everyone else seems to hate? 👀

Brisbane girl. Big book feelings. Absolutely no self-control when recommending reads. 📚

Consider this my application for the Australian Indieverse rep search! ✨

I’m Melly 1/4 of Bound Between Pages, a Brisbane-based mum of three, finance girl by day and romantasy reader whenever I can sneak in a chapter. Fourth Wing and ACOTAR brought me back to reading after almost 20 years, and now I’m helping destroy TBRs over at Bound Between Pages. 🤭

What would we bring to the Indieverse?

📚 Honest, enthusiastic reviews that give readers a reason to pick up a book.
🎥 Relatable reels, cheeky humour and recommendations we can’t keep quiet about.
🫶 A welcoming space where readers become book besties.
🇦🇺 Big love for Aussie indie authors and getting their stories onto more shelves.

We’d love to bring our faces, voices and overflowing TBRs to your community. Because finding an incredible indie book is exciting. Finding people to scream about it with? Even better. 🥂

Book besties, help us introduce ourselves: which Aussie indie author deserves a spot on everyone’s TBR? 👇

**Book Review: *Tame The Dark* by Ella Fields** ⚔️🖤

**Rating:** ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆
**Spice:** 🌶️🌶️

**The Blurb:**
Set against the backdrop of a looming, devastating conflict, this standalone fantasy romance follows a deeply forbidden connection and the undeniable, magnetic pull of fated mates trying to navigate a world divided by magic and war.

**My Review:**
I really enjoyed this one! It was a surprisingly different concept compared to what I usually read in the fantasy space. The overarching storyline revolves heavily around a war, but you never actually take part in the battles or see the full, gritty extent of the battlefield—it focuses much more on the characters and their intense, forbidden dynamic.

If you are suffering from fantasy burnout and need a fantastic palate cleanser between massive, heavy world-building series, this is the exact “in-between” book you need! It gives you that great fated-mates fix without requiring you to memorize a 10-page glossary. A really solid, enjoyable read!

**Tropes & Vibes:**
* ⚔️ Fantasy Standalone
* 🖤 Forbidden Romance
* ✨ Fated Mates
* 🗺️ Unique War-Time Backdrop

Thank-you @cgfrances.author for the e-ARC of the Last Remaining Light! I was delighted receiving and reading this book.

Anyone who leaves elegant and beautiful stories, with intricate story-telling and systems should read this book.

I am still thinking about the characters ❤️💙

With a new release date of 20 October it’s now time to add this to your TBR. by @bound_between_pages

Book girls, we’ve socialised enough. Back to our fictional men. 📚🤭

Comfy clothes on. Book open. Reality on mute.

But first, I need your BEST recommendation 👀
The book you’d sell your soul to read for the first time again.

👇 Drop the title and tell me what sold you: the plot, the yearning or the morally grey menace?

Save this post for your next read and follow for more bookish chaos. Your TBR is about to suffer. 🖤

Feminine rage + Greek mythology? Consider me sold. 🔥

I devoured this ARC and now I’m begging for more.

⚔️ Dark, unique mythology retelling
🖤 Found family I’m obsessed with
🔥 An MMC who has me completely hooked

A short read that was worth every minute. This series deserves a spot on your TBR.

⭐️ 5/5 | 🌶️ 1.5–2/5

What gets you adding a book faster: feminine rage, found family or the MMC? 👀👇

Follow for more dark reads that will destroy your TBR. 📚

One chapter. One wine. One too many. How did we end up here? 😂🍷📚

We came to the winery for book club.
We stayed for “just one more”.
The Threshing Day debrief got progressively louder. 🐉😭

Did we all survive? Yes.
Did our dignity? Still under review.

Tag the book bestie whose “one drink” always turns into a whole plot twist. 👇

This counts as a pumpkin patch if you’re a book girlie. 🎃📚

A little BOOtastic, because apparently we’re choosing our next read by cover colour now. 👻🧡

On the menu:
🍊 Orange covers
📚 A dangerously pretty pile
👻 Zero chance of leaving our TBR alone

Which orange book deserves a spot in this stack? Drop the title so we can call it “seasonal decorating”. 👇

Four friends. Four October TBRs. Only one can win. 👀📚

These are our October hopefuls, because calling them “books we’ll definitely finish” felt dishonest. 😂

Swipe through, judge our choices and settle the group chat debate…

👇 Who has the best TBR: 1, 2, 3 or 4? Vote in the comments and tell us which book deserves to be read first!

Follow @bound_between_pages for more bookish chaos and questionable TBR restraint. 🤭
