What a week! #chanterelles were abundant. Got to hit @fourrosesbourbon this morning with my brother @feelthestrength and had our first flowers on our #roseofsharon trees. Happy #fathersday to all you dads. Thank you #jesus for the many blessings in my life. by @bourbon_forager

People ask me how I get so lucky with these finds. I’ve spent years honing my skills. Luck is a small part of #foraging. What they don’t realize is these two trees were trees I’ve picked from 4 years in a row now.

However in a new spot I walked 4 miles without finding anything. This is really #hiking with a purpose lol. Get outside!

5,6,7. Small chicks but too far from home to go back. They made a nice risotto!
