The Jellicle Kiki Ball returns this summer for its Second Edition: Journey to the Heaviside Layer(OTY) on Friday, June 27th at La Sala Rossa.

Chiiillleeee, I swear they need to study whether time is getting shorter, ’cause where did my good sis 2024 goooooooo? 🤭

But whoosh! 2024 was the year I created the least and tried to rest while catching up to my dreams 🏃🏾. Now, I may still be running, but the break from creating has served me well, and I can’t wait to jump back in. I feel 2025 is going to be an exciting year here at Boutadream because it’s WHAT?!?! Bout A Dream and what’s more important right now than that?!?

Looking back at this year, I am so incredibly grateful to have been able to continue exploring with y’all.

Our first community event with the incredible @itstheemarket forever so grateful for all the folks who showed up and engaged with me, with each other, with themselves, with so much care and thought.

I got to create some custom projects with a few really dope Black creatives, like working for @piiiirre , honoring the decades and their unbelievable creative vision.

I also got to be at my favorite markets @debaser__ , @itstheemarket , @mega_crafters_emporium , @nosymag—and enjoyed some fun new opportunities like @ingridtherose ’s Black creators market at the NAC, @madshoppeofficiel and @konbitage ’s market at TimeOut, and @pearllyyb ’s amazing market at Vanier Hub.

Everything feels so shaky and scary in a world overcome by past, present, and future grief, but I still believe that our dreams and how we hold them with and for each other will set us free into new worlds so vast and expansive they can hold us whole. by @boutadream

I know I said I would be launching a new collection (this has been pushed to end of October 🫢🥹🫶🏾) Instead equally as exciting I’m bringing back the Highlight series to shine more light on Black creators, artists, and dreamers in our community ✨🤎🧿
