Star Bell Tent questions? We’ve got answers ⭐🏕️

The FAQs you’ve been asking…

⏱️ How long does it take to pitch the Star Bell Tent?

On your first pitch the Star Bell Tent may take up to 25 minutes to erect, however, the more you practice the process the quicker it will become... the experts here have got it down to 7 minutes! Whilst it’s not vital, having an extra pair of hands will make pitching the tent easier.

☔️ Is the Star Bell Tent waterproof?

Yes, all breathable fabrics have been treated with a water repelling agent to ensure dry adventures! On your first pitch, or even when practising in the garden, you may want to ‘weather’ the fabric. Weathering a tent (also known as “seasoning” a tent) is the process of exposing it to water to help seal the fabric and stitching before actual use. This is especially important for cotton and polycotton tents, as their seams often have tiny needle holes from manufacturing. This is not a vital step, for it your predicting your tents adventure to face a heavy downpour, it is advised. The Oxford fabric does not require this as the synthetic fabric is tight and 100% waterproof.

✨ What are the benefits of webbing straps over ropes?

Webbing straps are thick and heavy-duty, giving your pitch more resilience in high winds. They also minimise tripping hazards!

🔥 Can I install a stove in my Star Bell Tent?

For models that are polycotton or cotton, yes! We recommend doing this in the fire retardant model that comes equipped with a stove hole and flap. Please be advised to get the correct accessories; flashing kit, heat mat, and a carbon monoxide detector.
