This September I'm taking on the London to Brighton bike ride to raise money for @hackneyfoodbank 🚲

Hackney has been my home for years, and the work they do supporting people in our community has never been more important.

If you'd like to donate to a great local cause, or just enjoy the idea of me suffering my way up Ditchling Beacon after 50+ miles, I'd be hugely grateful.

Ziggy “Zig Ah” Beauvallet.

The Notorious ZIG, Prince ZigZag, Bigman, Little Guy, Stinky, Zig Man Freud, Ziggy Pop, smush, and many other names, none of which he responded to.

For over 18 years, Ziggy was a constant presence in our lives. A professional napper, relentless kibble smuggler, heat-seeking missile, and unwavering believer that Zoom calls were all about him.

Thanks for reminding us to slow down, to appreciate a patch of sunlight, and stop what we’re doing and pay attention to the small things.

The flat feels very strange without you in it.

We’ll miss you terribly, though we’ll undoubtedly continue finding your hair on our clothes, sofa, records for decades to come.

Sleep well, sweet prince ❤️ by @bovus

May Day festivities with @goblin.band were something else. 🌞🌱🪰

Almost a year on to the day since Rowan & Sonny performed at @mothclub for the first time. It felt like some feat to have sold it to the back of the room.

The debut EP “Come Slack Your Horse!” is out now on Broadside Hacks Recordings.

Kiran Leonard’s new album Real Home came out this week. It’s an absolutely essential listen: years of densely referential and boundlessly experimental music have led to this most focussed release to date. Go give it a listen and make sure you go see him live soon. Also, thanks for having me take photos, it’s a real honour x
