It’s been 6 weeks in the dessert (woah!) and here are some things I’m grateful for:

• God’s Word nourishing my soul daily
• @ruthiemp8864 - my new roomie and very first arizona friend!
• The STUNNING sunrises and sunsets God has been painting lately
• Marco Polo, FaceTime, voice memos, texts, TikTok dms, and the best friends in the entire world who have made 2,000 miles feel like nothing at all
• My work fam at USAP who makes 8:30-5 so much fun
• The Body of Christ showing me God is at work in ALL places at ALL times
• The prayers of my friends and family that I have felt so tangibly
• Horses! TJ Maxx! Georgia football!
• Evening walks while I call home
• The invitation to be part of God’s ministry of reconciliation wherever I go!

A sweet, sappy little love letter to 1204:

We prayed over you long before we ever stepped foot in the door.
We asked that you would be a place of ministry, used by God for the advancement of His Kingdom. We prayed you would be a home of hospitality, vulnerability, life, and celebration.
We prayed you would be filled to the brim with the Holy Spirit.
God heard those prayers, and He did far beyond all we could ask or imagine.

There are 185 people on our Polaroid wall. You were a home of hospitality.

Our living room couch held my three best friends and our mentor as we shared burdens, anxious thoughts, honest doubts, and prayers. You were a home of vulnerability.

That same couch saw relentless encouragement, reminders of truth, and the Bible opened more often than the TV turned on. You were a home of life.

Our side yard became an event venue, our living room a dance floor, and our kitchen a cafeteria. From spelling bees and engagement parties to mahjong leagues, there was always a reason to fill the room. You were a home of celebration.

You were just walls and floors, but when God’s spirit entered this place and you became a vessel.
A vessel for the Kingdom. A place where people encountered the love of Jesus. A place where I encountered it too.
I am better because I spent time here.
I hope all 185 people on that Polaroid wall can say the same.

ONLY GOD!!

Only God can take the girl who walked into UGA as a freshman and shape her into who she is walking out today.

Only God can answer the countless prayers for community and friendship that I prayed.

Only God can provide the time, strength, and energy to show up faithfully in every opportunity He gave.

Only God can do the work in and through @prince.college that I’ve seen.

Only God can give joy that transcends circumstance and peace that surpasses all understanding.

(And only God can give me @georgiafootball of course)

My time at the @universityofga is direct evidence of Ephesians 3:20, that God is able to do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine.

May these past four years, and all the years to come sing God’s praises alone! May my life be a testimony that God is faithful to His Word and a never-ending fountain of grace.   ONLY GOD!! PRAISE BE!! taken in University of Georgia by @bowencorley

God has given me such sweet moments lately, and I’m just grateful I get to be present in them, knowing my future is in His very loving and very capable hands.

Here’s to weekend trips, my very best friends, iconic parents, the steady character of God, and 2.5 more months at the greatest university in the world 🥲🥂❤️‍🩹
