ANDDD perhaps a little something else 👀

Want your copy signed? Waiting to support an indie bookstore? I love that. I'll be announcing my indie partner in the coming weeks so keep an eye out!!

As always, thank you all so much for your support. Early reviews and orders are so much more important than I realized before I started this journey and I appreciate you all so much!!

A Swindler's Song is for readers looking for a romantasy that straddles the line between cozy and epic, with a found family crew that knows how to fail forward. Think Six of Crows but they're in a Kimberly Lemming book 👏🏻

COVER REVEAL: A Swindler's Song by Lindsay Bowen
Coming April 6, 2027 with @alcovepress

I am beyond thrilled to share the cover of my debut with the world! I was absolutely STUNNED when I received the first sketch. @mageofspace__
absolutely pulled Kesper and Lennie straight out of my brain and I couldn't be more thrilled 🫶🏻 Jade, you are freaking amazing.

💙 FOR FANS OF:

A Fate Inked in Blood
Swordheart
Six of Crows
That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Demon
Our Flag Means Death
Dungeons & Dragons
Pirates of the Caribbean
Demi Winters
Carissa Broadbent

💙 BLURB:

A rollicking romantasy debut in which a mischievous barmaid, her crew of misfits, and a broody bounty hunter set out to rob a vicious warlord.

In Nettle Ridge, the kind of town where dreams go to die in a puddle of cheap ale, Lennie is just another barmaid with a voice that melts men’s hearts and empties their pockets—until a tavern brawl drops a heist plan right into her lap.

The target is a vault belonging to one of the three warlords ruling the country of Renier, rumored to hold mythical healing crystals that could save her grandmother’s life. The plan? Stolen, half-baked, and in desperate need of revision. But Lennie has spent years eavesdropping on Renier’s seedy underbelly from the shadows of the bar, and decides a heist couldn’t be that hard . . . with the right friends.

Riding the high of her crimes, Lennie releases steam in the form of an impulsive one-night stand with Kesper, a mysterious bounty hunter employed by another warlord, in town to hunt down a gang of thieves. After Kesper discovers his fair barmaid is none other than his target, instead of turning her in, he joins the crew—keep your friends close, but your enemies closer.

Between staged weddings, repressed emotions, and very real dungeons, Lennie, Kesper, and their merry band of swindlers realize they’re in for more than they bargained for, as the vault may hold something even more precious than life-saving crystals.

PINCH ME. I'm so excited to FINALLY announce that my debut novel A SWINDLER'S SONG, will be hitting bookshelves in Spring 2027 with Alcove Press !!

Writing this book felt like a fever dream in the best way. The characters, the story, the themes all came together so clear and fast, and I'm so happy to call this book my debut.

More info about pre-orders and such will be coming soon but for now, after months of sitting on this secret, I get to tell the world I'm going to be a published author!

A million thank yous go to my wonderful agent @readwiththebookwitch for helping me navigate this process, for reassuring my anxious brain at every turn, and for the well timed twerking gifs 🍑🍑🍑

I'm SO excited to work with @katielizmcguire on bringing ASS to it's full potential, I know we'll make it extra shiny 😍🍑😍

Meet Emilia. Assassin, spy, sunshine. Kesper's adopted sister who he would do anything for and hates lying to. Emilia was forced into the crew and has a LOT of strong feelings about the lack of planning 😂
