Super Drumlin! My first film, mucking about in my bedroom with a borrowed super8 camera, some plasticine, and no idea what I was doing. A few years ago I'd have been mortified if anyone saw this, but now I think it's charming enough, plus I always love seeing other filmmakers' first attempts. Obviously Morph and the work of Mr @petelordaardman were a huge influence on spotty teenage me. Watching Morph on TV, which looked deceptively simple, gave me the confidence to have a go myself. It was only later, with a few years animation experience under my belt, that I realised just how clever, sophisticated, and beautifully animated the Morph shorts are.
