What a voice. What an energy. What a catalogue of hits! 🤘🎸

Bryan Adams at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, and wow what a show. Every song in its original key, hitting those high notes with incredible power, passion and total commitment. At 66, he still gives absolutely everything.

He also really, really knows how to keep a show interesting. Starting alone on a small B-stage, performing a couple of songs before running along the crowd giving high fives, then returning to the main stage for hit after hit. In between, there’s a blues jam, a solo performance, a beautiful Spanish guitar arrangement and even a video of him cruising in a big Cadillac with his mother. Plenty of great variations to keep things moving, although even with all that variety, the show occasionally felt a little on the long side.

And that was mainly down to the new material. It’s not exactly groundbreaking, feeling more like a repeat of familiar moves from the past, just perhaps not quite as strong. Then again, we simply haven’t heard these songs thousands of times yet. They could be the classics of tomorrow of course, but in all honesty, I doubt that.

The atmosphere in the arena is quite something too. Rather than a wild rock concert, the vibe feels more like a relaxed family gathering, with a crowd that has grown older alongside Bryan, singing along to songs they have loved for decades.

And then, just when you think you know what kind of evening this is going to be, things take an unexpected turn. Bryan encourages the audience to take off their T-shirts and wave them above their heads. One woman takes the invitation rather more literally than expected, revealing considerably more than anyone anticipated and staying on the big screen for a surprisingly long time. 😂

More than two hours of music, incredible vocals and a ridiculous number of hits. With Summer of ’69 among the highlights in the final part of the show, it’s a reminder of just how much great music Bryan Adams has given us.

A very memorable night in Amsterdam with a true legend! 🙌🔥🙏🏻🚀❤️

There’s already been a lot of important groundwork done at PODS Resort Curaçao. 🇨🇼

With that in place, the PODs themselves can be installed quite quickly, and the resort will really start to take shape!

Looking forward to spending some time here with friends and family next summer, guitar in hand and enjoying some Curaçao sunshine. 🎸☀️🇨🇼

When I’m not enjoying my POD, it will be rented out for me by Dormio Resorts & Hotels. So no hassle for me with cleaning, communication with guests, promotion, maintenance and other time consuming things. And I still get to keep the largest part of the income (not taxed in box 3 by the way). 🔥🙏🏻
