Why choose organic textiles?

Our skin is our largest organ, and there is growing awareness about using natural skin products.🙏🍃
However, what may not be as obvious is the impact of clothing we wear. Textile (clothes, bedsheets) directly touches our skin 24/7, making it important to consider the materials used.

We often choose natural materials like wool, cotton and linen for more conscious clothing choices. However, this does not account for the use of harmful chemicals. In many countries, super neurotoxic pesticides are banned, but they are still permitted for example in Asia, where much of our clothing is produced.

We are very happy to welcome @hiyokoimai into our store. Hiyoko Imai is a Tokyo-born illustrator, paper composer and graphic designer based in Amsterdam.

Here the beautiful alphabet poster ~ behind the scenes ✂️~ Every original illustration is created, cut and pasted by hand. A playful and visual way to help your kid to start to read words.
