Strawberry spinach salad with poppy see dressing
• Strawberries are ripe and juicy and I’m cooking up recipes with lots of them. Today a salad with sweet strawberries, candied pecans and crumbled feta. Slice the strawberries thin so they’re in every bite you take!
INGREDIENTS
Spinach
Sliced strawberries, 4 extra large 12 cup pecans, candied or plain, chopped
1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled
DRESSING
1/3 cup Greek yogurt (I use @fage )or sour cream
3 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
3 to 4 Tbsp olive oil
1 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp honey...(I use local @the_original_honey_girl)
2 tsp poppy seed
Salt and pepper to taste
Add all dressing ingredients in a jar with a lid and shake vigorously until the yogurt/sour cream and oil mix well. Pour over salad and toss. Finish off with feta cheese then serve. #foodie #summer #yum #love #hungry by @bowlandapron

Pizza, knots and I’m missing the wings…. I should have made them. That’s life! Too hot outside to grill burgers, instead, made a flat bread bbq chicken pizza outside in the pizza oven. Huge dust storm decided to roll in at the same time…made me burn the edges. Cheesy garlic knots made up for it! Loved the way they turned out. Happy Labor day weekend.
