Happy first anniversary to MJ and Alden! My favorite dahlia disco-loving couple!

Looking back at this incredible celebration @nybg . In all my years of planning, never have I worked so closely with a couple to infuse as many meaningful details.

To name just a few: @lappartement4f dessert topping (first date spot); commemorative Kentucky derby glassware and cocktail flair (groom’s background); almost 300 smashed plates (Greek tradition); sunflower nod to Van Gogh display (installed at the time).

Friends sang. Table captains adorned crowns. And the bride ended the night in white platforms, disco balls all around. An incredibly memorable celebration.
