We said goodbye to our sweet Tuff Tuff yesterday.
I remember the day I went with my Mimi to pick you up, the long car ride, and you tinkling on me on the way back. From the very beginning, you were full of love and personality.

You were the bestest boy, and we were lucky to have 12 incredible years with you. You made such an impact on my life and on your brother cousin, Ruger. In 2022, you were diagnosed with Degenerative Myelopathy Syndrome. Then in 2023, you had a heart attack, and your amazing mom—my aunt—revived you. In July 2024, you lost the use of your back legs. Since then, you were on three heart medications for a tough arrhythmia, including one every 8 hours.

But you kept going strong.

If it weren’t for your acupuncture, Chinese herbs, and most of all, the incredible care from your mom, we wouldn’t have had as much time with you. She truly was the best dog mom anyone could ask for. She’s the reason I love animals so much and why I now have Ruger, my own Boxer.
My grandma, my aunts mom, she also cared for you while you your mom couldn’t leave work. To let you outside to potty, give you your medicine and she gave you so much love as well.

Tuff, we will miss you more than words can say. I know you’re running again in doggy heaven, chasing butterflies, dragonflies, and bubbles. I hope you get all the treats your heart desires, because you were, and always will be, the bestest boy.
