Melbourne 4 piece Bodyjar are not only a mainstay of the Australian music scene but a punk rock institution. Mined from the suburbs, heated in the fires of the big cities and tempered on the long roads of the Australian touring circuit, Bodyjar will return to Tasmania this September for the 25th anniversary of their genre defining album, How It Works.

The album’s lead single “Not The Same” was a feature on the soundtrack for the wildly successful video game, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3. Exposing punks worldwide to the melodic power of Bodyjar’s singalong anthems while firmly cementing the band as one of Australia’s most loved exports.

Bodyjar will be bringing their soaring melodies and palm muted riffs back to Tasmania as part of their national tour celebrating 25 years of How It Works with two huge shows on the island;
Friday 4th September at Pub Rock Diner Devonport, and Saturday 5th September at Altar Bar, Hobart.

Frenzal Rhomb’s Sans Souci turns 23 - and we’re celebrating!
Here at Frenzal Rhomb, the number 23 has always been important to us.
23 pairs of human chromosomes, William Burroughs’ 23 enigma, Psalm 23 in the bible, “the Lord is my shepherd”; we’ve always been big with shepherds.
Actually, that’s all nonsense, we just missed the 20th, and the world may not make it
until the 25th, so this year we’re celebrating the 23rd anniversary of Sans Souci!

The difficult sixth album, Sans Souci saw us back with Camel producer Eddie Ashworth
for sixteen sweet servings of shrewd social commentary slid inside some superb punk
pop skins, including the green-tinged morality tale of “Bucket Bong”, the complicated
relationship drama of “I Went Out With A Hippy And Now I Love Everyone Except For Her”, even trying our hand at sports metal with “Punisher”.

There was the Kernaghanesque “Looking Good”, the Gastro-rock of “Ballchef”, and that
song about Russell Crowe’s band we’ve been advised by our lawyers not to talk about.
And heaps more! And we’re gonna play them all* on the Frenzal Rhomb Sans Souci
23rd Anniversary Tour. A marquee event! And it’s still French for “no worries”.

Get tickets now before Russell Crowe’s lawyers get back in touch!
*look we may not make it through the whole album, and we probably won’t play it in
order. So don’t go getting all weird and complain like that one person did on the Camel
tour. We’ll give it all a red hot go though!

7 shows across the eastern states with one of the best bands to do it!
It takes so many people to make a tour work, from concept, to booking, to days on the road and making it happen every night.
Huge thanks to @brockbsab and @jojowymer, @greg.bower.37, Aden and @albertbhunt

All our killer venue teams, with special shouts to @localshopdc and @staygoldmelbourne, @in_the_fastlane_records and @authorityzeromusic for joining forces for one of the most fun shows I’ve ever been part of.

Ive been working with @awilhelmscreamofficial since 2008, but it’s never been work.
Just great hangs, killer shows and good times.
Joints in the car park, murder scene hotels, the glitz and glamour of bus stations and fuel stops, and a million billion iced coffees.

Pour me another.

🚨 TOUR ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

Massachusetts-based melodic hardcore powerhouse @awilhelmscreamofficial are back in Australia in 2026 for a run of headline shows in seven cities across the country.

Coming off the back of a HUGE 2025 - including the European Common Thread Tour with names like Hot Water Music, Spanish Love Songs and Joyce Manor - A Wilhelm Scream shows no sign of slowing down. Playing over 250 shows each year, such work ethic can only be described as “heroic.”

Far from a cliche quintet, A Wilhelm Scream have carved out a reputation as one of the best live bands around, bolstered by their staggeringly rich albums of ultra-technical melodic punk rock firestorms. Kicking off in Hobart, the band will race around the country with the pace, the party and the riffs to show exactly why they’ve stood the test of time.
Plus, @authorityzeromusic and Aussie punks @thedeclinemusic will join them for their Melbourne show on March 8.

Avoiding bandwagons and bucking trends for nearly two decades, A Wilhelm Scream have stayed true to what matters most - music that comes from an honest place. “I guess it’s because you never know when your new album is gonna be your final album, so you really wanna put all ya got into it. That’s the legacy I want our band to leave behind when all is said and done,” says vocalist-guitarist Trevor Reilly.

But, lucky for us, not all is said and done.

Blood, Sweat & Beers and Evil Eye Touring presents A Wilhelm Scream

March 6 Hobart, @republicbarcafe
March 7 Adelaide, @edcastlehotel
March 8 Melbourne, @staygoldmelbourne w/ Authority Zero and The Decline & more
March 11 Newcastle, @hamiltonstationhotel
March 13 Brisbane, @crowbarbris
March 14 Sydney, @crowbarsyd
March 15 Wollongong, @lalalaswollongong

***Evil Eye Touring & Southern Extremities Productions proudly present***

Australia’s favourite career punks and consummate masters of the 4 chord arts FRENZAL RHOMB return to Tasmania/Lutruwita for two shows in celebration of the 25th(ish) anniversary of A MAN’S NOT A CAMEL.

*STATEMENT FROM FRENZAL RHOMB*

2025 is an election year, and for too long the major political parties have ignored the regions of this vast brown land.

That is why the FRPP (Frenzal Rhomb Political Party) has today announced, on its 25th-ish anniversary, a pledge to bring the songs of A Man’s Not A Camel into regional centres across Australia.

“It is a failure of the major political parties and stain on the very history of this great nation, that simply because you live outside of the major city centres, for the last two and a half decades you have been deprived of sweet guitar riffs, 90s slap bass, sick drum beats, and harmonised rhymes about beer.

The FRPP’s A Man’s Not A Camelpaign pledges to end that drought, and bring the songs of Frenzal Rhomb’s majestic, iconic, exalted album A Man’s Not A Camel BACK to regional Australia.
We will make sure no town* will ever again go without seeing songs like “Never Had So Much Fun”, “We’re Going Out Tonight” and “You Are Not My Friend” as they were truly intended. Live, loud, and played by people 25-ish years older than when they were recorded.

No, Frenzal Rhomb cannot balance the budget. Nor can we solve Australia’s housing crisis. We can’t even produce green carbon to get us to net zero (but then again no one can).
But we CAN bring A Man’s Not A Camel to the beer-soaked stages of regional Australia.
And you CAN trust us, we’re the ones who told you that interesting historical fact about dinosaurs in song.
Also it can’t be pork-barreling; none of us eat meat.

FRENZAL RHOMB RETURN
TO LUTRUWITA FOR TASSIE 2’s THIS MAY.
