POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

We spent the weekend in Yorkshire visiting our daughter and on Saturday we ventured into York. With hindsight it wasn't the best idea as it was insanely busy and none of us found that particularly enjoyable. But the upside was I visited Duttons for Buttons, which I have wanted to go to since hearing about it. I was very restrained...but what do you do with a frog button? Put it on a cat's head of course. 🐸
The song choice for today's post is because we are going to see Soul II Soul tonight- 30 something years after seeing them the first time. Exciting. by @boxroombazaar

Lots of cats for #throwbackthursday - a migraine yesterday meant it was an unproductive day but there are new things in the pipeline; an owl, robins and of course cats. This one is from last summer. by @boxroombazaar

I'm pretty sure this is the last one, it was in my thread drawer. The upside of being that person who keeps everything. I'm tempted to order another print run of cat fabric because it's fun thinking of ways to use them- I'll ponder on it. Meanwhile, it does feel a bit early to be going full on festive, but I'm learning there are organised people out there!
I did share this last week - I made a reel for the first time in ages, I think it reached about five people...🫤 by @boxroombazaar

It's cake day! Tuesday's call for cake, because how can you watch The Great British Bake Off without any? I made carrot muffins because we have so many carrots 🥕 🥕🥕🥕 by @boxroombazaar

Why do I have a little wand? I have no idea. It's been sitting in my button tin for as long as I can remember. So over the weekend I tweaked a disappointing mouse prototype into one I was sort of happy with. I wonder if she can grant wishes? 🤔 by @boxroombazaar

A bit of silliness for #caturdaysaturday, Traitors edition.
Are you watching? Verdict so far?
I mean, who can top Alan Carr? But still, great tv. I'm very much enjoying it.
Also, whilst I was faffing about making cloaks for a cat, Puppy Arlo was getting up to mischief with a capital M . by @boxroombazaar

I found another one of these little offcuts and decided to make something Christmassy with it. I have two more festive felines that I made yesterday but the light was fading by the time I'd finished them, so no photos yet. That's the one thing I really dislike about the autumn and winter - the lack of light.
Have a lovely day. by @boxroombazaar

Yesterday came as a bit of a shock, extra layers required for the first time in ages. I took the 'stay indoors day' opportunity to make something autumnal 🍂🍁 by @boxroombazaar

I took a break. We've been to North Norfolk and I took the opportunity to uninstall my social media apps and have take a break from posting and scrolling (something I'm determined to cut down on!)
Arlo's first trip to the beach. Here are a few pictures - but to be honest I didn't take many.
Hope you are all well insta friends. by @boxroombazaar

A proper #throwbackthursday today, probably over ten years ago. Back in 2011, I used to make mostly nursery art, I'd also take on lots of commissions, which is what I'm guessing this was. So many pivots since then and I don't think I've many more in me.
I'm taking a break for a little while, I'll be back soon. by @boxroombazaar
