Shot these at Blausee Lake back in May this year. Never would've known about this place had @negativestills not pulled over for this brief little excursion. Thanks homie. ❤️ Kodak Gold Mamiya 645 Pro @indiefilmlab by @boxspeedpapi
Another eclectic and vibey local spot here in Denver. Big thanks to @rook_denver for having me by and giving me access to shoot your gorgeous interior. Portra 800 shot at box speed. Pentax 6x7 MLU. Scan & Dev: @indiefilmlab #localdenverbusiness #filmphotography #shotonkodak by @boxspeedpapi
I've been finding interest and inspiration in vibey local Denver interiors as of lately and was invited to spend an afternoon shooting @peachcreaseclub and I'm happy to have had my chance to get this space on film and all to myself for a few hours. Thanks for having me. Im looking forward to coming back and shooting some black and white. For now, the color just can't be beat. Great job with the design and implementation of the space. A preview of some of the frames i shot through the windows of Hotel Spinne in Grindelwald, Switzerland. The first two from my bedroom window and the third being shot looking into the mirror and out of the window in my bathroom. Expired Fuji Pro 400H. Pentax 67. I've been battling with a lot of internal dialog on what I should do with the entire body of work that I made out in Europe. On one hand, I want to share with my fellow film homies and friends (my family will always get prints from me) and sharing via Instagram is becoming less and less appealing and showcasing my frames on my own website seems to be the direction im heading. I have 3 projects in the works right now with all of this new work. - a traveled post card project. - getting the website up and running (already bought my domain for 3 years). - and starting my book. You wont see me post much here anymore though, as I cant seem to get past the idea that all im doing is making Instagram more valuable and adding to their pockets by allowing them to host my hard earned work while they limit my engagement and prevent me from having the reach that I think my work should get. That being said, ill still be active here to consume others work and hard effort, but gifting my projects freely here will be fewer and farther between. Once my website is up and ready to go live, ill let you know. All of this could change. Who knows. But for now, this is where my head is at and im more than certain a lot of you can understand.
