MORE MASSIVE NEWS IN BOYBAND WORLD❕

Boyband is finally releasing music! Come party with us at San Fran on November 5th, alongside Lazarus (DJ set) and Grove. A night you won’t forget, celebrating tunes that you’ll have stuck in your head!

Lazarus is an electronic producer & DJ. Starting the night with a set grounded in dub and house, expect deep grooves, hypnotic rhythms, and a fluid blend of sounds that move between meditative and a boogie. After that, they’ll be closing out the night with hard-hitting tunes with fun at heart.

Fresh off their debut live performance, ‘Grove’ brings forward a superb selection of their newest and most beautiful works. With pointed attention to detail and gentle craft of songwriting, Grove showcase an insightful blend of poetic storytelling and pristine musical arrangement. Influence from chamber folk and classic indie music scenes moves the band through a soft, sophisticated, and smooth instrumental sound.

Boyband is Millie Aislabie, Evie White, Siena McKenzie-Smith, Grace Gillanders and Ellen Lucas, a femme-led, all-girl band. They sit in a space between indie-pop, alternative, funk, and mid-century soul/R&B. The group’s closeness and real-life (NOT FAKE) friendship translate into a seriously approachable groove. The band aims to hit you where it hurts, soothe you where it matters most and get the people moving with an emphasis on lyrics, melody and texture. After a year of forming, gigging and putting in the hard mahi, Boyband is so stoked to announce their debut singles and celebrate at San Fran, playing their very first headline show!

Tickets available at Moshtix, link in bio. See you there! by @boyboybandband

BOYBAND

A semi-chance meetup at a party, a shared love of Aunty Mena’s and a well-timed Hotel Bristol group chat. These are just a few of the things that make Boyband the most fertile band in Wellington. These Boys are extremely ready to bring their blend of pop, neo-soul, and alternative music to the stage at The Night Before, with the goal of hitting you where it hurts, soothing you where it matters most, and getting you moving!
