👑 kings at the DIVAS diva !!

for a long time drag kings have been a less visible part of drag, and it felt significant to have us included in this event this year. i hope it is a step towards seeing more kings, more regularly, across sydney’s drag stages and lineups, with more First Nations kings and POC kings part of that picture too.

big thank you to the @divaawardsau and thank you to our most popular king @sexygalexyofficial for advocating to have us included in the awards this year 💪🏼🎉👑 by @boye_sivan

entering my DIVA era 💋

for your consideration:
Boye Sivan
for the deeply competitive title of Sydney’s Most Popular Drag King

despite being famously undiscovered, I remain delusional… I mean optimistic 💋

Ready SET Drag is taking over Two80 Cabaret for a night of Drag King performance, interactive games, audience participation, dinner, cocktails and plenty of surprises.

Following the success of a sold-out Ready SET Drag Cabaret in Gosford, the Sydney edition brings together a new cast of Kings ranging from experienced performers to newer and emerging talent, all ready to hit the stage with their own style, character and energy.

After a four-part workshop series, the cast steps into the spotlight with a show that mixes cabaret with the chaos of a game show.

Expect fierce performances, ridiculous challenges, audience games and PRIZES TO BE WON! And don’t be afraid — no one is getting dragged onstage against their will.

Only willing participants will be invited up to play.

THE CAST
Featuring Drag Kings from across Sydney:

@boye_sivan , @goodjobbo_king , @sir_cumferenceee @king_dandywarhol @boymichaellovesyou , @mayelle_gayze @atlaswild2023 @cherry.packer
