Released earlier this month, here are photos from the ‘27. Grump/Coleman/Cohen/Haug’ recording session.

This session featured grump, a super active musician in the LA scene who you can likely find performing in some capacity near weekly around town. grump is an LA based multidisciplinary artist and curator. Their musical work experiments with sound collages, woodwinds, unorthodox rhythms and drones using samplers, effect pedals and other miscellaneous instruments. They are also the founder and sole operator of online radio and mixed media interface, bed crumb show*

Also on the session is LAOI’s very own Trevor Coleman, who records all of our albums at his place, straight to his Tascam 388. Outside of LAOI, he is one of the most talented and prolific musicians we know, both recording and performing constantly with his projects 2070 and GDS-89 along with many many other collaborations around LA.

It was a fun time with some nice results! Check out the album 💿
