Last year’s trick-or-treat display was large, but because I’ve added so many new figures from @bethanylowedesignsinc, this year I’m afraid I’ll have to go bigger. I’m thinking twice the size of this. 🎃🍬🍫🍭 #halloween #trickortreat #haunted #spooky #fun by @bpatrickbruce

“Poor Pickme Pumpkin” 🎃

Left alone in the patch
on Halloween night,
poor Pickme Pumpkin
had no cause for delight

Scared and cold,
overlooked and forgotten,
even crows passed him by
as though he were rotten

Oh, why was he different?
What on earth could be wrong?
Was there nowhere tonight
a sad pumpkin belonged?

Still he hoped and he wished,
but found it hard to believe,
that someone might claim him
this All Hallows Eve

So he sighed and he cried
and abandoned all hope,
as there seemed simply no way
for a poor pumpkin to cope

But as nightfall descended
and the patch slowly grew dark,
something magical happened—
reigniting his spark!

Footsteps approached,
a brother and sister quite glad,
had trudged through the patch
in search of just what he had

The perfect round shape,
orange, vivid and bright,
a face filled with joy,
one sure to delight…

So home he went with them
and accepted his torch,
for poor Pickme Pumpkin
was now Jack of his porch!

Every year I enjoy adding new pieces to my CarnEvil (Haunted Circus). This year it was this spooktacular new Skeketon Ringmaster from @bethanylowedesignsinc. Difference is in my circus, the animals are always set free! 💀🦁🎪✨ #haunted #halloween #carnaval #circus #spookyseason by @bpatrickbruce

Another HTF vintage Rosbro Halloween candy container. This one is of a witch riding her broom/motorcycle. 🧹🏍️🎃✨ #vintage #halloween #motorcycle #candy #witch by @bpatrickbruce

I love vintage Halloween Rosbro pieces. This witch on rocket is an incredible example of one of the rarer space-themed designs from the 1950s and ‘60s. This particular style is frequently HTF, and can cost upwards of $500. 😮🚀🪐 #rosbro #halloween #space #rocket #witch by @bpatrickbruce

Vintage die cuts are some of my favorite Halloween collectibles. This cute little witch girl from the 1950s is a particular favorite. 🧹🐈‍⬛🎃✨🖤 #vintage #spookyfun #halloween #witch #diecut by @bpatrickbruce
