🔓Core Memory Unlocked: “Brent & Kyle Pease: YOU ARE AN IRONMAN!”

In just over 14 hours, the Pease Brothers crossed the finish line, completing the grueling 140.6-mile IRONMAN World Championships and proving once again that inclusion matters in sport AND life.

It’s easy to imagine how physically tough it is to carry a human being for 140+ miles. But what about being a constant source of positivity and encouragement for over 15 hours? To be the unwavering light, the voice that says “keep going” when every part of you feels the weight of the challenge.

This isn’t just about finishing an IRONMAN. It’s about showing the world that all capabilities have a place on the course and in life. by @bpeas9

The moment it all hit. We were all separated in the chaos of the finishing chute. Ended up in the athlete area with @togetherwewheel where I finally was able to process what had happened. Broke down for a minute, just soaking in the accomplishment. Together WE Did! #kpeasey2kona #imwc #peasebrothers #togetherwewheel by @bpeas9

Today on @nbc at 430 ET live the finish line with us one more time. The Ironman World Championship will be aired today with @kpzydaironman3 being crowned a world champion for your viewing pleasure. by @bpeas9

In 2015 we went to the NYC Marathon as part of the first group to take on the famed race as a duo. What happened next was something neither of us was prepared for. A shattered wheel at mile 13, an attempt to carry Kyle solo before realizing I’ve never been doing this alone. A stranger, Amy was first. Then Kameron came later. Friends. We carried the mangled wheelchair for 13 miles. We walked in silence at times, never realizing what the other may be experiencing. We screamed at each other the entire way home. Today what we appreciate more than the finish is just how special @thekylepeasefoundation is. For what it allows others to experience and the many who help make that possible. For where there is a wheel, there is a way. Enjoy this special day runners. @nycmarathon is one of the best days you can have as a runner. If it gets hard, just remember that we are all going through something and we never have to do it alone. #togetherwewheel #pushingbeyondlimits #nycmarathon #inspiration by @bpeas9

Another year, another incredible day supporting the Kyle Pease Foundation during The Jake Golf Tournament at the lovely Berkeley Hills CC. We don’t know what they put in the water up there, but it gets harder and harder to leave each visit.

We look forward to running it back next year!

For the player, not the game by @bpeas9

The magic of Kona: After trying for nearly 7 years to take on this famed race we finally got the chance to move through the lava fields in 2018. In 2024 we got to go back for one more dance. There is a special energy to these islands and I am very thankful to have experienced it with @kpzydaironman 2x. As Kona is upon us this week, I hope that all of the athletes will feel the special energy this week and take time to appreciate exactly where they are. by @bpeas9

Throwback to this week in 2013, Brent & Kyle crossed their first @ironmantri, together, in Wisconsin. Join the 15 year movement of inclusion with The Kyle Pease Foundation, we’re just getting started.

@thekylepeasefoundation (KPF) is proud to celebrate its ongoing partnership with Adidas, a collaboration that continues to break barriers and create greater opportunities for athletes with disabilities. Since becoming an official partner in 2023, Adidas has played a vital role in helping KPF expand its impact through race support, athlete resources, and increased visibility on some of the world’s biggest running stages.

The partnership has also been part of some of KPF’s most memorable athletic achievements. Wearing Adidas , KPF Founders @kpzydaironman and @bpeas9 captured the duo division title at The Walt Disney World Marathon, crossing the finish line in an impressive 2:59:42. Their sub-three-hour performance demonstrated not only years of dedication and teamwork, but also the power of inclusive competition.

“You don’t know the impact you’re having.” Brent and Kyle showed up for each other even when there were many no’s…people were seeing it.

Getting ready for my next endurance event, September 2026! by @bpeas9

@bpeas9 asked me a pretty simple question when we first sat to talk about training: what did you actually like about swimming when you trained for your Ironman?
My honest answer — getting out of the pool. I’ve never once felt comfortable in the water. I hear people say all the time it’s great recovery and for me it’s more like survival.
I still remember walking out of the swim in the Ironman while everyone around me was still swimming. Not me / the second I could stand I was done swimming.
Now the @29029official Triple is more than double the Ironman swim and that old fear hasn’t gone anywhere.
Some goals you take on precisely because they scare you the most.
Already looking forward to the 2026 version of that photo with my arms in the air as soon as I reach solid ground… by @bpeas9
