Lucky to experience venues with the best broadcast crews so figured I’d share my life behind the scenes & show how the big shows get made

I’ve been lucky enough in my career so far to cover everything from the NBA Finals to now NFL games overseas and figured I would start a page to give a glimpse behind the scenes to how I play a small smart in getting these shows to air with some incredibly talented crews across different networks. by @bpgonset

It’s fun checking off historic venues from the bucket list! Week 2 of Big Noon Saturday assignment from Ann Arbor and after that upset, I have a feeling we will be back again this season at some point. The Big House lived up to its name…95 rows all the way around! They also have one of the most spacious booths I have ever been in for commentators.

Wrapping up a bucket list work assignment in the city where I started my professional career in sports broadcasting was a cool full circle moment for me that made this last month even sweeter. A lot of great memories and work experiences made from this whole thing with Brisk 04! by @bpgonset

The games are getting bigger and so are the talent coming out on the road! Last time Miami being used for a studio show so that means getting 2,500 feet of fiber cable back to the broadcast compound which was flown across the top level of the stadium and even tied to some palm trees. Always adventure when doing a final strike. by @bpgonset

Match #2 maybe the game of the tournament? 2.7 Billion viewers worldwide to watch Cape Verde almost secure the most unlikely upset over the defending champs. Argentina might have the loudest fanbase I have ever heard. Great to catch up with a friend from Europe stretch last fall! Makes gigs so much more fun working with friends. by @bpgonset

That was a whirlwind of two days but wouldn’t trade it for anything to cover an event that’s on my Mount Rushmore of sporting events I wanted to work in my career. We have a mobile brisk kit that will travel with this crew across the country! Two set locations, one inside with a small podium and the larger outside in the fan experience that has a full desk and demo pitch. So many people work hard to get this to be show ready for you in 48 hrs. See you again in a few weeks from a new location for knockouts! by @bpgonset

It’s been a decade since I worked my last Final Four and this one was fun one to be back for! I was on the studio side this go around which meant helping oversee the main host set on the court, the pavilion set, and the courtside altcast hosted by Jess Simms. On top of that we delivered hits to SportsCenter, NBA Live, College Gameday and a postgame show on digital throughout the weekend. Great V3 crew overall for this one but Ryan and Angel with me directly on Studio was a trio with a lot of laughs to make the week fly by. taken in Phoenix, Arizona by @bpgonset

Not quite Saudi Arabia like it was originally planned but still a crazy event to be a part of to help showcase Flag Football ahead of the 2028 Olympics when it will be in the games for the very first time. Team USA showed the NFL guys that there is something to how to play the game with more than just the skills they are used to. by @bpgonset

First competitive tournament on the much talked about glass court was another one to add to the list for Women’s Big 12 Tournament. They developed the layout and design of the court throughout and was cool to see it change by @bpgonset

9 stadiums and 1 off-site studio show is the final count for an incredible fall this football season! Started the year at home in Lawerence for the first game at the new stadium and ended it in Boise for the Mountain West Championship. 3 countries in between for the NFL International slate and two other college venues for Big 10 football! It was a season of opportunities I will never forget and look forward to growing on top of it all in 2026 and hopefully reuniting with some awesome new friends from countless crews I got to jump in and be a part of throughout it all. by @bpgonset
