It’s my Hubby’s 34th Birthday Today!🥳

We’ve been together for 7 Birthdays now & each celebration is that much sweeter! Donnie, I’m so thankful to have a front row seat to see how much you’ve grown in the last 7 years! You’re kind, patient (most of the time🤪), loving, caring, & so much more. You lead our home so well & I’m so thankful that you put the Lord first in our lives! 🌟IT’S TESTIMONIAL TUESDAY!!! 🌟

Brettnie knew she was ready to take on more responsibilities at work, but wasn’t getting the opportunity to show what she is truly capable of.

With a little advice and encouragement from My Advocate, Brettnie found the courage to advocate for herself, and the results are greater than she ever expected.

The lesson here? Only YOU can decide what you are worth and what is acceptable when it comes to your career. That means not taking “No” as an answer when you were made to do more.

365 Days of Progress
Someone asked me a few months ago what I’ve been doing & I told them that I had gastric bypass surgery…but I didn’t stop there—I said, along with my surgery, I changed my diet completely, educated myself SO much more about nutrition beforehand (& continuing to learn now, s/o to @paulaciarniello , @candiceadair1 & now my 1P Coach, @jennylynnlivin )
I intentionally move my body daily, & each day I make better choices when it comes to the food I consume…they said “oh must be nice to just have that surgery” (love how that’s the only part of that they chose to hear🙃)
Let me tell you something, the surgery was and still is a very helpful tool, but without the work and prep I did beforehand and even now, the surgery doesn’t just “do the work” for you. So, although being able to have the surgery was “nice”, I’ll tell you what’s not “nice”
-PCOS-Depression-Anxiety-Hair Loss-Irregular Cycles-Sleepless Nights-Reflux-Inflammation, just to name a “few”.
.
I am so thankful that I was able to have this surgery for a lot of reasons, but the main one is just to live again.
I have traveled & enjoyed so much the last year & I know without losing the weight thus far and just FEELING better, I never would be able to do those things.
The number on the scale doesn’t matter as much to me right now as just how I feel in general and that is such a freeing feeling.
If you’ve made it this far, thanks for reading & thanks to my husband, parents, siblings, & friends who have supported & encouraged me…even when I felt like giving up!
If you’re thinking about getting healthier..DO IT & if you’re on your journey DO NOT GIVE UP! 🫶🏼👏🏼 by @bphenson

Kind, Selfless, Loving, Hilarious, Nurturing…I could go on for days with words to describe my mom, but the one that stands out the most to me is Blessed. My Mom is so blessed to have me as her daughter🤪ok ok, really, she is such a blessing to everyone she meets and I’m so thankful to be able to learn and gain so much wisdom from her.
