"During the week of Oct. 28, ILWU workers at TTI set a new world record for vessel lifts for a single vessel call, completing 18,482 moves on the MSC SIXIN.

Amazing level of planning, execution, and teamwork accomplished between ILWU members and the TTI team. The record would not have been possible without the dedicated Local 13 crane operators, UTR drivers, swingmen, top handlers, dock signals, lashers and mechanics.

As well as collective efforts of and coordination with Local 63 marine clerks and OCU. Local 94 walking bosses, Local 26 security guards and TTI management."... POLB

MSC LONDON (19k TEU - 399m/1,309' LOA) & MSC HAMBURG (19K TEU - 399m/1,309' LOA).

They may appear pretty empty but over 16,000+ US import containers were discharged from these two ships alone last week.

Formed in 2015, the 2M Alliance consists of the 2 largest ocean carriers; MSC & MSK. This alliance will cease starting 2025 as MSC has positioned itself over the past few years to go it alone; standing at the top with ~18% total market share.
