Maximum points weekend. 💯 Deion Campbell swept both Superbike Cup races at Laguna Seca, leaving with 50 valuable championship points and plenty of momentum.

It’s hard to put this weekend into words, but it’s weekends like this that keep us going and remind us why we love this sport so much.

When we arrived at the @bpr__racing truck saturday morning, we were completely caught off guard. Bryce and the team had planned a surprise we’ll never forget—a one-off custom livery by @lieto_factory for @joshhayes4 to race at Laguna Seca. The moment was so genuine it brought tears to our eyes. (Swipe to see the tears 🥹).

Thank you to Bryce, BPR Racing, Josh Hayes, Lieto Factory, and the whole team who made it happen. We’re incredibly grateful to be part of this team.

To top it all off, BPR Racing left @motoamerica @weathertechraceway Laguna Seca with seven trophies, took over the lead in the Super Hooligan Championship, earned two first-place finishes in Superbike Cup, and both R9s continue to be the top Yamahas in Supersport with @joshhayes4 putting the bike on the box in Race 2. What a weekend at Laguna Seca! After ending Friday practice in P3 and qualifying P7, I knew we had the pace to fight up front. The geometry changes we made at The Ridge have completely transformed the bike, and it’s getting closer every weekend to exactly how I want it.

Race 1 couldn’t have gone much better. I got a great launch and worked my way into P6 early, then settled into a good rhythm while trying to chase @kayla_yaakov and @joshhayes4 . After a rider crashed, I moved into P5 and brought it home there with one of my strongest rides of the season.

Race 2 started just as well with another great launch into P6. I wasn’t quite as comfortable as Race 1, but I kept pushing. Tyler Scott suffered a mechanical right beside me (which was a close call), and after a couple of crashes ahead, I found myself in P4. Grip faded late in the race, making it tough to consistently hit my marks, but I dug deep and held on for my best MotoAmerica finish yet in P4!

What an unforgettable weekend we had at our team’s home race at Laguna Seca! Bringing home 7 podium finishes with 4 victories is just a dream. In Supersport, @joshhayes4 finished 4th and 2nd, while @brendenketelsen44 finished 5th and 4th. @brycekornbau and @andy_dibrino swapped victories in @superhooligans with Bryce winning on Saturday and Andy winning on Sunday, leaving 1-2 in the championship with 2 rounds remaining. @campbellracing194 brought home 2 victories in Superbike cup and reeled back 30 points in the championship fight. We cannot thank all of supporters, friends, family, and most importantly the team for all of their hard work and making this happen! by @bpr__racing

Winning a race straight-up like I did Sunday at @theridgemotorsportspark has been a goal of mine since @motoamerica started coming to the track in 2020.

I owe the biggest of thank you’s to Bryce Kornbau of @bpr__racing . My life has been devoted to racing @superhooligans and it’s been a challenging last few seasons for me, so when I got the call from Bryce at the end of last year about an opportunity to race for his team, it was genuinely a saving grace for me. Seeing how dedicated and passionate Bryce is to building and developing motorcycles is on another level! I knew working with someone like him who not only builds the bikes himself, but races them at the level he does too, would be a DIALED combination! I’ve had a blast with Bryce and have so much respect for him and his wife @savmode. It’s been such an honor to represent BPR and I can’t wait for the rest of the season👍🏼

I think a big reason I was able to win Sunday was because of some advice @joshhayes4 gave me after Saturday’s race. Having a guy with the experience Josh has in my corner is invaluable. I still think it’s the coolest thing ever that I get to be teammates with Josh! Thanks man!

Big thanks goes to @campbellracing194 as well for all the long hours you put in at the shop and on the road. You’ve earned my respect and I appreciate your role in this! Crazy how far we have both come since our Superstock 600 days.

Thanks to my mechanic @mcrawford728 who I met less than a year ago at Mid-Ohio! He hit me up on Instagram asking if I needed help, and I think he has gotten a lot more than he bargained for 😂 My dad @kdibrino and I really enjoy you hanging out with us. And of course I couldn’t do this without my dad Keith. It was amazing to get this win in front of you and mom. What a special day it was!

The Ridge delivered one I’ll never forget! 🌧️➡️☀️

With rain in the forecast, Friday was spent qualifying in the wet where I finished P8. Saturday’s dry qualifying was a challenge as we chased the setup, but we still came away with my best qualifying of the season in P10.

Race 1 was incredible. After an early red flag, I got a much better restart, I trusted the bike in the wet, and worked my way from the pack into P4. I even held the fastest lap for a while as I chased down the podium before bringing home an amazing 4th place—my best MotoAmerica finish yet!

Sunday was dry, and after some great setup changes from Derek and the team, the bike came alive. I battled through a tight group, took over P6, and put together consistent laps to bring it home in 6th.

Leaving The Ridge with a P4 in the rain and a P6 in the dry is something I’m really proud of. Huge thanks to the entire BPR Racing team, Derek, Mark, and Rainey, for all the hard work this weekend. Thank you to all my sponsors and supporters: @jonglaefke, @_keyesracing_, @araiamericas, @rydergear , @gravesport, @pcpmotorsports.
