What’s on your TBR (To Be Read) this October? Any spooky or fall read on the list? 👻🍂
.
I wish to finish read at least 4-5 books this month, I’m half mood reader & TBR reader… usually i set my monthly TBR and really stick to it while the rest I follow my mood, I have these 4 books on top of my TBR this October:

1. BABEL by R.F Kuang (CR 70% of it)
2. OUR MISSING HEARTS by Celeste Ng
3. THE RIVER OF SILVER by S.A Chakraborty
4. THE VEILED THRONE by Ken Liu

Quick thoughts about BABEL so far, I really enjoyed it… I actually started it with really LOW EXPECTATION because I’m not a big fan of The Poppy War 🫢 but here I really love how Kuang wrote the fantasy element and combine it with academic, history, the unfairness of racism and colonialism PLUS the characters are loveable… it’s all around (so far) such a spellbinding story. I will share more of my thoughts when I finish it 🤔 by @br.enda

✨SEPTEMBER WRAP UP✨

Hello Oktober!!! (It’s finally my fav month of the year wooohooooo) 👻🎃 so tell me How was your reading month? Found any new fav book?

Since it’s the first day of October it’s time for the monthly wrap up 🥳 September was a slow reading month for me, i read 6 books in total which is actually less than my ussual but i kinda enjoyed most of them :

1. LITTLE MUSHROOMS: REVELATIONS | 4⭐️
2. BELLADONNA | 3⭐️
3. THE UNDERTAKING OF HART & MERCY | 3⭐️
4. CARRIE SOTO IS BACK | 4⭐️
5. FAIRYTALE | 3⭐️
6. UNRAVELLER | 4⭐️

Now just realized i read all new release books on September 🤭😱 and almost exclusively ebooks except “Unraveller” by Frances Hardinge (which i just finished yesterday) because it was one of my higly anticipated release and this UK Waterstones edition is beautiful 😍💙 a must have book for me and lemme tell you, Frances Hardinge didn’t disappointed me at all!! it was such a wonderful tale filled with magical worldbuidling, loveable characters, friendship and unique Fairytale-ish story like nothing you have ever read, if you haven’t try Frances Hardinge’s book…. Give it a try, i read so far 3 of her books and i love them all (Deeplight, Unraveller & A Skinful Of Shadows) 😍

Now i started my October with “Babel” by R.F Kuang the most current hype book because of FOMO LOL 😅😁 kinda nervous to start it actually because of the hype and i’m not really a big fan of the Poppy War, cross fingers i will enjoy Babel 🤞🏻

Anyway, what was your 1st read of October? by @br.enda

Hello September 👋🏼 is it time for pumpkin theme again? *nods happily* 😍 well… i cannot believe i went MIA for a month 😬 life happened and tbh i’m not happy with where this application goes with all the reels and videos 🥲 tho some of them are fun but i’m a big fan of photography. Despite everything that happened in this platform, i love this community too much and book in general and still want to be around to talk about it so thank you for everyone who still stick around, i’ll try to be more active ❤️

It’s been a while since I upload Mistborn series, this is one of my favorite trilogy and still think “The Hero Of Ages” as one of the best conclusion (even tho it broke my heart in pieces) and CANNOT WAIT FOR “The Lost Metal” few months to go now woohooo

Question: tell me what is your highly anticipated release for the rest of the year? 😍😁

- Mine clearly: The Lost Metal by @brandsanderson by @br.enda

Do you enjoy Witchy story? do you have favorite book/Movie/series with a Witch as the main character?
.
I remember throwback years ago i absolutely love “Charmed” TV Series! (the 1998 one) i remember i stayed late at night just to watch it cause it aired around 11pm (i used to sleep at 10pm) 😄 Love the 3 Halliwell sisters Prue, Piper, Phoebe not going to count Paige cause hate her 🙃

Now about witchy book “Nettle & Bone” is one of my latest favorite Witchy book, it was such a super fun Adult Fantasy Fairytale-ish story with Evil prince, a possesed chicken 🤣, impossible tasks, sisterhood, romance & friendship and loveable characters 😍 T. Kingfisher became one of the new author for me i want to read more of her books, i also just finished her book “What Moves The Dead” yesterday, now this one is different than Nettle & Bone but gave me the same unique dark fantasy story, it’s about a deadly fungi 😱🍄

Aaah my weekend is almost end, i honestly not ready to welcome Monday 😩😗 by @br.enda

Question: What’s on your July TBR? 🤔🤩

I always set up my monthly TBR and stick to the list and then follow my mood for the rest of the month, here is my July TBR (already finished 2 of them so YAAAY)

1. BOOK OF NIGHT by Holly Black✔️
2. BOOK LOVERS by Emily Henry✔️
3. THE STARLESS SEA by Erin Morgenstern
4. PROMISE OF BLOOD by Brian McLellan (Currently Reading)

“The Starless Sea” is one of my oldest TBR I think I own the book since years ago, now now… this will be my second chance for Erin Morgenstern… I (confession time) DNFed “NIGHT CIRCUS” years ago 🫢 so if I end up don’t like “The Starless Sea” it will be my last book from this author *cross fingers I will love it* 🤞🏻

Here in the picture is one of my biggest surprise read this year (beside Book Of Night) : ✨“DARK RISE” ✨ I didn’t expect to love this book, never tried Pacat’s book before and only read it because it was on sale (ebook) for around $1 and I was like ohh why not try this book?… and my goodness gracious, I end up really love it!! *insert 1000 hearteyes emojis* 😭😍 It’s a YA Fantasy story and got zero romance but there is indeed some brewing romance in the book and I hope my ship will sail in the sequel (please @c.s.pacat ) and immediately purchased the hardback edition, I cannot wait for the sequel!!! 😍😍 by @br.enda
