We couldn’t stay away from South London for long. 👋

Back to the neighbourhood where so much of our story began - only this time, we’re bringing chicken.

Braai Bird is our new South African wood-fired rotisserie spot, opening this November on Nunhead Lane. Really good chicken, cooked slowly over fire, crispy chips, plenty of sauce and the kind of food you want to get stuck into with a table full of mates.

It feels very good to be coming home.

See you soon, South London ❤️‍🔥

After leaving south east London to open Kudu in Marylebone last year, founders Amy Corbin and Patrick Williams are returning to their old Nunhead site. They’re bringing braai culture back to the neighbourhood, where chicken and a 700-kilogram wood-fired rotisserie will sit at the heart of the menu, along with a casual and family-friendly style of dining.

The opening of Kudu in Marylebone was a big success but now the team are heading back to where it all began. Their next opening will be @braaibird, a wood-fired rotisserie chicken restaurant with South African flavours, and it’s opening where Kudu Grill once was.
