'Tales from an Old New-Briggate'
IN PRINT!
.
If you saw the banners of my artwork in Leeds from my last post, you’ll know they’re being taken down very soon...
.
But not to worry!
.
I’m releasing 50 - limited edition - Giclée A3 signed and numbered prints…
.
150 years of hidden histories from this iconic (but often overlooked) street in Leeds, all drawn in my unique sketchy style…
.
These bad boys are printed on 290gsm environmentally friendly paper and shipped with even more eco creds. 🤌🍃
.
Also, I want to make these limited editions affordable to everyone, so I’m offering a discount until the 1st of July…

But these are a one-off.
So when they’re gone, they are GONE…

Link in my bio for more info.

A little something I’ve been working on ✏️📚

I had the pleasure of illustrating Operation Perilous Magnetism, a book for 9–11 year olds, written by Andrew Evennett, who I’m lucky to have become very good friends with along the way.

A brilliant project to be part of, and always a special feeling seeing your illustrations out in the world and between the covers of a proper book!

Days are getting colder, shorter, and summer is already a distant memory… but Forrest is still an absolute delight to be in. 🌿

He’s my studio on wheels, a cosy cabin to retreat to, and an adventure wagon.

Built by hand using reclaimed materials, ash, oak and larch. If my personality exploded inside a van, it’d probs look exactly like this.

Here are a few of my fave features. What’s your favourite? 🤨

Have I ever shown you this?…

Somehow I never got around to sharing this little project from last year.

I illustrated an activity booklet celebrating the architecture and history of St Bartholomew’s Hospital’s North Wing in London, filled with colouring, drawing and pattern-making activities inspired by its incredible historic interiors.

The idea was to help patients explore the building’s heritage, get creative and share what they discovered with family and friends.

A proper dream project combining illustration, architecture, history and a bit of creative play. ❤️💭✍️
💭
Swipe through for a peek inside! And if you want to see a little more, I’ve popped a few more images over on my website…

 link in bio.

Well, it’s been a bloody long time since I gave Instagram an update…

A lot has happened. Cornwall, a new studio, lots of new projects and a whole new chapter. 🍁

Feels good to finally share a little bit of it with you all!

A selection of van illustrations for @tinybuildelectrics

They have some fantastic and super helpful guides on their website for van / tiny home self-builders.

When doing the electrics in my van, I would have killed for info like this!...

BUT what makes them extra magic is my illustrations all over their guides! 😎

Swipe to see them in use... by @bradallsopstudio

Next up in our artist spotlight series is artist and illustrator Brad Allsop (@bradallsopstudio) ✍️

Starting his career studying architecture, Brad trained and worked in carpentry and natural building which influences and fuels his love of drawing. You can often find him filling up his sketchbooks whilst exploring the UK in his self converted van 🚐

We’re big fans of Brad’s drawing style and were keen to sit down with him to ask some questions around his art practice and inspirations. If you want to find out more about Brad’s work you can visit his website (bradallsop.co.uk) where you can also purchase a print of one of his artworks titled ‘Tales From An Old New-Briggate’ - printed by Fresh Aire 🖨️ by @bradallsopstudio
