Today has been such a special Father's Day because it was also National Go Skate Day!@stephaniebogus and Miles let me sleep in and I awoke to Miles so excited to give me presents and share Father's Day with me. He and Steph decorated the house for me. I also awoke thinking of my father, who passed 18 months ago.They got me a @theebikinikill release on vinyl, which I listened to along with an Aretha Franklin and Louis Armstrong record I bought for my dad a long time ago.Then we went out to our local coffee shop, @goodbonesdenver, and I skated ahead so I could ride up and down East Colfax. The new asphalt there from the Bus Rapid Transit project is amazing, like skating on butter. I also copped this cute tank top from the coffee shop because it's also a thrift store (it's such a cool place).We went and skated in the basement of our building. For the first time in a very long time, Miles was interested in playing on his skateboard. After a little work, he finally kick pushed for the first time ever! It was so exciting, very proud dad moment.Played some video games with Miles and then picked up some gear from a local skate shop to work on replacing my deck with this sick new one I was gifted by Marianne at @alibicannabisIn honor of Go Skate Day, I am adding this video shot by one of my favorite dads, @vinnie_chant , from a day he joined @the_zong_king, Miles and me out to the pump track.While I'm definitely missing my dad today, I recognize that is going to be the case every Father's Day and every other day in between. But based on how much my body is buzzing with happiness right now, I can definitely say this is the best of the 5 Father's Days I've spent since Miles was born.And like it kinda had to be since it was also #GoSkateDay. How can that go wrong?! by @bradbogusreally

My 420 started off strong with a stop by @goodbonesdenver to meet up with @laurengibbs2002 at her @rootforhemp pop-up. Snagged a set of hemp washcloths, a hemp plastic "fuck 🧊" whistle, and a Good Bones special, a "fuck 🧊 cold foam," a first of its kind lolCheck out the products Root for Hemp sells this 420! Hemp is cannabis don't forget. And go support Good Bones if you're in Denver, they are literally the coolest. by @bradbogusreally

Birthday record store day haul. Found some great ones. I've almost finished gathering every Samiam record, only 2 left I believe. First Nirvana album and only one without Dave Grohl. This album is fantastic. Ramones live in 77 at CBGB is literally history from the year punk was born. Open Mike Eagle should be on everyone's list of hip hop artists to follow. Lard is a collab between Jello Biafra of the Dead Kennedys and Ministry. Epic and often forgotten band.By the Grace of God is one of my favorite hardcore bands outta Louisville Kentucky.
