Raw healed footage of a sleeve I finished 🙌🏼
(below the elbow done elsewhere)

Connecting onto pre existing work can be tricky but I’m super stoked with how we blended things, and I would love to take on more heavy detail / cathedral pieces like this in the future!

It’s just that easy 🤷🏼‍♂️

Actually, not quite. This was a last minute project that I agreed to just a few days before I started. This meant I had to design, prep, and mentally prepare myself to start this marathon and there’s A LOT that goes into a project like this. Not to mention I haven’t actually painted a mural in 4 months 😅

5 days of painting and about 60 hours later, and this is what I came up with, I’m super happy with the outcome and I hope you guys like it! 🙏🏼

I’ll tell you a little story about Syd…

When we were growing up, our dads would hang out in the garage while we would play in the yard and she would beat my brother and I with nunchucks or practice karate on us. Few times I left her place without bruises but needless to say we’ve been friends for along time.

When I first started doing basement tats a year and a half ago, she jumped on the band wagon and without hesitation supported me from the get go. “I don’t give a f&@$ tattoo what ever you want on me” she said and I would.

When I started my apprenticeship and got permission to do my first real tattoo in shop last May, it only seemed right to offer it to her. She agreed and I tattooed what ever the f&@$ I wanted lol.

She’s been back many times since then, and last night we finially finnished her leg sleeve! 🎉🙌🏼🍾 (my first full leg sleeve)

The sleeve tells a story of my progression over the past 10 months from the rose and eye ball to the most recent, the plague doctor and It’s pretty cool how far I’ve come.

Thanks for supporting me homie! @sydney_767
Finally got my pay back! 🥷

No better way to get in a artists head faster than another tattoo artist questioning the stencil 😵‍💫😂

It’s better to apply the stencil 5 times to get it exact because there’s no way it’s moving after. It can be annoying but it’s essential, DONT BE LAZY!!
