@lando top fan left in tears 🧡 @mclarenf1

Whilst I tried everything and everyone to help me secure those extravagant @f1 #paddock tickets, it was just a dead end 🚫 all the way….. but then up stepped @daniellehabana 💯 who did the most to get that once in a life time, up close encounter and signature!

It’s not the #f1paddockclub experience but there is 100% one happy teenager returning to Qatar tomorrow 🧡

He watched her more closely than she ever knew. He saw her count coins she pretended not to be counting. He saw her give him the bigger portion and call herself full. He saw her cry in the kitchen with the tap running so no one would hear, then walk out smiling as though nothing in the world could touch her.

So he grew up carrying things. Not because anyone asked him to, but because she had shown him how.

And now, years later, when he does something brave, or patient, or kind, when he stands a little straighter than the moment requires, somewhere in that gesture is a woman who taught him before he could speak.

She gave him a life. He spends his own trying to be worthy of it.”

Growing up as a youngster in the streets of Boksburg, I used to “love” the 3am wake up calls in the middle of an icy winter, to walk down to my uncle’s house and watch the @allblacks play @bokrugby

Playing 1st team rugby for @maristbrotherslinmeyer I would copy the fist pump try of Pieter Hendriks whenever I scored.

Going to watch the @bokrugby practice with my lil brother at Wanderers rugby field was special much and boys being boys, going up and down the hotels elevators to spot the players was just lekker ❤️

Today the @rugbysgreatestrivalrytour has brought back so many amazing childhood memories for a sport that genuinely changed my life for the better.

The greatest rivalry is and has been THE GREAT Camaraderie tour of ALL time.
