Our life sustaining sun. The nice thing about solar viewing/imaging is a dark sky is not required and the views are only 8 mins old. Upgrading my Lunt LS50 Hydrogen - Alpha scope with a double-stacking filter and camera. by @bradjetpilot

Observing this evening ... IC 1396A "Elephant's Trunk Nebula" (resembles a dark figure to me) is a concentration of interstellar gas and dust ionized by a massive star some 2400 light years distant ● The main sequence star Vega 25 light years from earth and the second brightest star in the northern hemisphere ● The star Altair 16.7 light years away is a young main sequence star 1.8 times the mass of our sun rotating rapidly on its axis taking only 8 hours to complete

The Helix Nebula NGC 7293 "Eye of God" through the amazing Celestron Origin telescope designed to cut through light pollution such as found in my greater Dallas suburb this evening. Located approx 650 light years away, this planetary nebula formed when a star much like our sun ran out of fuel and enlarged into a red giant shedding off its layers of gas and dust. The inner blue core is composed of highly ionized oxygen while the red rings are made of hydrogen and nitrogen. (As I began to observe tonight out of the corner of my eye I noticed the shadow of a large bobcat walking across my fence line which only added to the experience.

The orbs were out last night zig zagging around at high altitude for hours. This is an enlarged image I took from 43,000' with no image editing. Hard to estimate exactly how high these were but at least 70,000' plus. Definitely UAP from my perspective as well as my co-pilot's.
