The Aaronic Priesthood Quorum Theme contains valuable messages that will help guide our young men to become lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ. Invite them to memorize it, recite it often, and apply the words in their lives. I’m eternally grateful for this calling and the opportunity it has given me to serve the youth. I love them and I love the Lord. by @bradrwilcox

✨ Want to help your teen keep the FSY spirit burning? ✨
Encourage them to share their experience with you! 💬
Ask what they loved, what they learned, how they felt during devotionals or testimony meeting.
Even simple questions like “Tell me about your company!” can spark powerful memories.
The more they talk, the more they remember—and the more that spirit stays with them. 💛 by @bradrwilcox

“I can’t stop smiling!” —Davis, FSY participant.

I love being with the youth at FSY and seeing how it impacts their lives in positive ways. I was so happy to meet Davis and hear about his experience at FSY. Here is what he had to say about it:

“I absolutely loved when our session director talked about [how] the people you meet are from Jesus Christ and that we need to love like Jesus did! I learned that no matter what happens, Jesus Christ and God the Father will always forgive us [when we repent] and love us, no matter what happens.

“We were able to visit the MTC and learn about serving a mission for the Lord. One of the games we did was ‘justice or mercy,’ and it just made me think of the gospel and that Jesus will always have mercy for us!” by @bradrwilcox

My son, David, is completing a residency in anesthesia at Dartmouth. I visited him, and we went on a hike. It was beautiful to walk through the trees, but it wasn’t until we climbed a tower that we could see the breathtaking view.

Sometimes, in our lives, we need to climb a tower to see the bigger picture. We can get too focused on taking the next step and forget the bigger view. I think that’s what President Nelson reminded us of when he encouraged us to think celestial.

Here is a picture of my parents, who have both passed away. The pictures are from when we lived in Ethiopia, Africa. My dad was helping to improve education programs there in the '60s. In the dedicatory prayer of the temple in Kenya recently, Elder Soares said, “Dear Father, we are deeply grateful unto Thee for those members of Thy Church who lived here as expatriates in the 1960s, who began to gather in their own homes and laid the foundation for the establishment of Thy Church in this beautiful land.” (Church News, May 24, 2025, 7).

When I read that, I felt so proud of my dad. Happy Father’s Day! by @bradrwilcox

As the year goes on, I’m hearing experiences about FSY impacting the youth. I received an email about a boy named Brock who attended FSY in Massachusetts and who shared his testimony of FSY in sacrament meeting. I reached out via email to personally ask about his FSY experience and here is what he had to say:

“I had an amazing experience at FSY. My company was amazing, and my counselors couldn't have been better. My whole week was filled with laughter, friendship, and the gospel of Jesus Christ. FSY was such a testimony-building experience for me."

You can also attend FSY! If you are a youth, you can attend as a participant with your stake and even if your stake is not scheduled for this year. Now is the time to make FSY a priority! Get ready for an unforgettable experience! by @bradrwilcox

Recently, I had the opportunity to speak at the BYU Women’s Conference. Donny Osmond made a surprise appearance to help me teach how the coat of many colors was a symbol of the birthright and a reminder of covenants. It was so fun to be teaching with my longtime friend and his family! by @bradrwilcox

There is power in the temple. And there is purpose in doing work for those who came before you.

When you serve your ancestors in the temple, you’re not just helping them—you’re strengthening your own foundation.

This work matters, and it was meant for you.

Have you had an experience in the temple that changed how you see things?

Let’s talk about it in the comments. 💬

I love Holy Week! Each day gives me a reason to think of Christ, speak of Christ, and feel closer to Him. As I read 3 Nephi 11 with my family this Easter, I am going to focus on verse 14. Christ invited about 2,500 people to greet Him one by one, which would have taken about seven hours. The point is not the time it took, but that Christ took the time. by @bradrwilcox

While I was on a recent assignment in the Philippines I was so impressed with the youth. You should've heard these young men stand and recite the Aaronic Priesthood Quorum Theme from memory. They said it with all their hearts. I snapped this picture after they sat down. by @bradrwilcox
