You can have the list. 👀

The looks, the personality, the chemistry… but there’s a better question to ask:

Is he under the Word?

A godly man isn’t just someone who says he loves Jesus or starts showing up to church because he’s dating you. His life should reflect a genuine pursuit of God.

Because when a man is truly running after Jesus, it changes the way he loves, serves, honors, forgives, and leads.

Girls, don’t just look for someone who checks your boxes. Look for someone who is chasing after God.

Maybe you’ve heard this before:

“God will never give you more than you can handle.”

The Bible actually tells a different story.

God will often lead us into situations that are beyond us so we learn to depend on Him.

Because He will never give you more than HE can handle.

Just because you can afford the payment doesn’t mean you can afford the cost. 👀

Not every opportunity is worth taking. Not every desire needs to be satisfied. And not everything you want is something you need.

Sometimes the greatest freedom comes from learning to say no to what looks good now for something better later.

What if our faith shifted from “what if” to “even if”? 🙌

Even if God doesn’t move the way we hoped, He is still good. Even if the outcome looks different than we prayed for, He is still faithful.

Your mind can make something feel true way before it ever becomes reality.

So don’t let every “what if” take up residence.

Filter it through what is true. Remember where God has already been faithful. And when anxiety predicts the worst, let God’s Word have the final say.

Peace comes from knowing the One who holds the outcome.

Prayer is more than asking God to fix it, it’s handing Him the weight of it. Bring Him what you’re carrying and trust Him with what you can’t control.

Do today. Hand Him tomorrow. Save this for when the what-ifs return. by @bradstraarup

You can love someone deeply without taking responsibility for everything they’re carrying.

Helping isn’t the same as owning.
Caring isn’t the same as fixing.
And saying “this isn’t mine to carry” doesn’t mean you stopped loving them.

Sometimes putting it down is exactly what you need to do.
