Dear Baseball, you were my first true love. Ever since I first picked up that ball and glove we were inseparable, you were where I went when I had nowhere else to go. You gave me so many lifelong friends, memories, and lessons. You taught me that failure is okay and that it is natural, you taught me how to accept defeat, and most importantly that hard work and dedication will always get you to where you want to be. You showed me that you don’t have to be the best at one single thing to be an asset in anything you do. And finally, you showed me that hard work will always get you somewhere. Baseball, you will forever hold a special place in my heart❤️ by @brady_kish_

First and foremost, I want to thank god for giving me the incredible opportunity to play baseball at the next level. I also want to thank all friends, family, and teammates for supporting me along this journey. Finally, I want to thank Coach Perry, Bagwell, Spradlin, Keffer, Hale, and Jones for the opportunities that they have given me to play for them. The lessons they have taught me are lessons that I will carry with me forever. The road hasn’t been easy, but I am so glad that I was able to find my love for the sport again back in 6th grade. After much thought and consideration, I have decided to continue my academic and athletic career at Averett University. I want to thank Coach Mcglaughlin for giving me this incredible opportunity to play at the next level. Let’s work! @averett_baseball
